Carrie's hair is already wet and there is already blood splashed all over the floor when the first drops hit her face.

Carrie acquires a blue jacket between school and home.

Tommy's scepter is already on the floor in front of Carrie just after she is splattered with blood. Later, Tommy throws the scepter to the floor.

The same extra can be seen running across the gym floor twice in the two consecutive shots where Carrie starts walking off the stage.

Tina was crushed to death by a basketball board in the middle of the gym floor, but her body disappears for the rest of the prom scene.

When the biology teacher explains photosynthesis, he gets it wrong. He says that it increases the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, but it actually increases the amount of oxygen.

Stephen King's name is spelled "Steven King" in the opening credits and in the trailer. Exactly the same happened in the original Carrie (1976) so the director may have done it on purpose as a tribute to the original.

When the bucket of blood falls on Carrie, the amount of blood is so copious and falls much longer than just one bucket of blood would.
