Christian Boeving appears to receive ten separate charges of electricity to his stomach area during his electro-shock torture scene.
A sequel, "When Eagles Strike 2 - Mission: Survive", was written and supposed to filmed in 2004 as a television film, but the project was canceled. Lieutenant Andrew Peers was the main character once again.
Matt McColm was considered to star as Andrew, based on his muscular physique. Finally, Boeving was cast.
Christian Boeving's screen image is based on Major "Dutch" Schaefer from "Predator" (1987) and Colonel John Matrix from "Commando" (1985). Both characters were portrayed by Arnold Schwarzenegger in his prime, and he was Boeving's biggest idol and influence.
Despite his reputation as a bodybuilder, Christian Boeving has only one bare-chest scene in this movie. It occurs at about the 9 minute mark, lasts only 13 seconds, and shows him with a towel wrapped around his waist in a locker room.
