Brandon Routh was considered for the role of Hank. Emilie de Ravin, Maggie Grace and Jenna Fischer were considered for the role of Anne-Marie.
Portions of the film, including the exterior of Formosa Studios were shot at Albuquerque Academy, the director's high school.
