My ranking of 8 out of ten for this show in in comparison to other shows in its genre. No one could claim that the plotting is intricate and fascinating, as half the show is necessarily devoted to scenes depicting simulated sex. LOL However, the three main characters strike an interesting relationship, and some of the episode stories about their dating matches are interesting.
The stories are definitely not the typical fare for this type of show, you will see some rather unique ones. A few of them actually have laugh out loud moments. And episode where two of the Black Ties owners use hidden mikes to try to talk a shy couple through a date is hilarious. The haunted house episode is one of my favorites as well.
My wife, who is indifferent to the Cinemax late night series most of the time, actually went so far as to admit that she finds this series enjoyable.
