Often, Australian movies are not released to VHS nor DVD in Australia. This is one such title. I had to import it from Poland, though it was still in English, which mattered little because it would have been equally comprehensible in Polish.
I don't know of Antony Redman, the director. His biography suggests that he's an advertising whiz-kid, which he may or may not be. But it also states that he continues to be involved in film-making projects.
Please, no. If "The Long Lunch" was supposed to be funny (as the blurb on the DVD artwork suggests), it wasn't. It was both excruciatingly painful to watch and a total waste of the time and effort I paid to have a copy delivered to Australia.
Antony, stay with advertising. Your genius is needed there more than in the film industry.
