In the scene where Victor Sweet is driving to the ice hole to meet Jeremiah, the first scene, from the air, shows him in a black GM model full-size SUV, either a Tahoe or a Cadillac Escalade (appears to have Escalade wheels), but after cutting to him IN the vehicle, and then to the front of the vehicle pulling up and stopping, it is a Lincoln Navigator, around the same year model.
After the kid tells Bobby the lights go off at ten, Bobby checks his watch on his left hand. In the next shot, the watch is on his right hand.
A close-up of the front of the El Camino Guys driver's license shows that it is a pre-2000 Michigan license. In the next shot, the back of the license has a magnetic stripe, which is found on post-2000 licenses.
When Bobby and Jack are looking at the guns found at the shooter's apartment, Sofi throws a pizza box at Bobby. He ducks, and the box hits the hanging lamp causing it to swing. In the next shot, Jeremiah walks over to the table, and the lamp is completely still.

During the shootout scene when one of the attackers enters through the back door, Jeremiah grabs him and stabs him. The man being stabbed can clearly be seen acting as if he had already been stabbed well before the knife makes contact with his chest.
After the shootout in the casino, when the brothers get into Bobby's car you can see a New York license plate mounted to the front of the car. Not only is it not a Michigan plate, but Michigan doesn't require a front plate.
Even though the film is set in Detroit, Michigan, at the beginning of the film the close-up shot of Bobby's car shows New York state registration and inspection stickers on the windshield.
The movie is set in Detroit, but in outdoor scenes a distinctive, oval Star Choice satellite dish can be seen on at least one house. Star Choice is only available in Canada.

When Angel is fighting Detective Fowler in Fowler's home, it is only known to Angel that the police were on their way because of the plan Angel and his brothers came up with. Why did Fowler think the police were coming to save him? He had no way of alerting them during the fight with Angel.
In the scene where the Insurance agent introduces himself and states the purpose of his visit, he states he is from "State Farm Insurance". However when Jerry cashes the check it is from "Mutual State Insurance".
