The popularity in The United States was so high (among the latino community) that Joel McHale spoofed Many episodes of La Madrastra while he hosted The Soup. Videos can be found on YouTube. The Soup created "Clippos magníficos" which was devoted to spoof spanish speaking shows, due to the success of La Madrastra's clips.
