Andrew Garfield had a receding hairline for the most of last decade. Starting somewhere in 2020, his hair showed significant growth and experts suggested that it was not naturally possible. Some hair experts shared that Garfield might have undergone a surgical hair transplant to achieve his new look. His recent red carpet pics from the We Live In Time premiere almost confirm fan suspicions about the hair.

While fans were swooning over the actor’s “new” hair, other fans came to defend him and share that he looked hot in his old hair as well. Garfield’s performances in recent films have received critical acclaim and his appearance would rarely make any difference in his acting skills.

Columbus indie pop band Snarls have returned with the new single “Heavy Drinker.”
The track harks back to the band’s previous work — a deliciously fun recipe of harmonies, party stomper hooks, and cheeky guitar distortion. “It encapsulates everything we love about our band with a fresh take,” Snarls said. The band is comprised of guitarist Chlo White, bassist Riley Hall, and guitarist Mick Martinez.
“Heavy Drinker” follows the single “Big Fish.” Both cuts appear on their upcoming album, With Love, out May 3. It marks the band’s second album after their 2020 debut Burst.

Netflix has been rolling out plenty of reality shows on its streaming platform. The sad part about this phenomenon is the lack of originality when it comes to the themes of the reality shows. Just several weeks ago, Squid Game: The Challenge was released, which was a reality-game version of a very famous Korean drama. Surviving Paradise on Netflix was devoid of substance. Love is Blind, Too Hot to Handle, Sugar Rush, Glow Up, and Is It Cake are some of the reality TV game shows on Netflix that were hit and miss.
The brand-new Netflix original, The Trust: A Game of Greed, is an addition to the plethora of shows in this genre, but just like before, it has nothing new to offer. This reality game show was released on January 10, 2023, and it is about a trust full of money being offered to 11 participants who come from various walks of life.

During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Top Chef judge Padma Lakshmi admitted that she and the other judges have sometimes identified winners early in the competition.
“There are seasons,” Lakshmi said. “I’m not going to tell you which one, but I’m going to say it was a very recent season. But not this one!”
Casey Kriley and Jo Sharon, Co-CEOs of Magical Elves, the production company behind Top Chef, told Showbiz Cheat Sheet that while they don’t tend to guess who will win, they will often have a top four in mind – and usually end up surprised in the long run.
‘Top Chef’ producers leave the judging to the experts

Oxygen’s Cold Justice production crew may not be professional true crime sleuths by trade, but working on a show that uses clues and investigations to solve a cold case can awaken the detective in just about anyone.
Casey Kriley and Jo Sharon, Co-CEOs of Magical Elves said working on a series like Cold Justice is unique in the sense that their show unfolds as the investigation, led by veteran prosecutor Kelly Siegler, progresses.
Kriley asks questions as she screens the episodes. “Whenever we’re talking about a case, even sometimes I’ll see the first cut of one of the cases that we investigated and I’ll call Scott Patch, who is our showrunner in post, and say, ‘I don’t understand how this could have happened. Or why they did this or why nobody’s talking about this,” she told Showbiz Cheat Sheet.

We’re pretty sure that there’s nothing Netflix has been dreading more than turning the calendar into November.
With the imminent arrival of Disney Plus in just a couple of weeks – which will make available, for a relatively small fee, the entirety of the House of Mouse vault, as well as a vast assortment of new material – the pioneer streaming service is surely shaking in its boots.
To counteract, and hopefully send a little bit of the entertainment excitement their way, Netflix dropped a “What to Watch” trailer online late last week. The eight-minute video consists of footage from just about every original show, movie, documentary, and standup special coming to the service next month. Be sure to check out the whole thing for yourself up above.
But if you don’t have time for that, I quickly scribbled all the titles that appeared in the seven sections featured in the trailer.

Disney has released a new trailer and poster for ‘Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-it Ralph 2‘, the much anticipated sequel to 2012’s ‘Wreck-It Ralph’. The sequel picks up when Ralph and Vanellope must travel to the world wide web in search of a replacement part for her game, Sugar Rush.
Although the trailer itself is pretty light on story, there’s a lot of fun to be had with it. Even though it’s only been six years since the release of the original film, the even further rise to prominence of social media seems to play a big part in the sequel. I’m loving the inclusion of the Daft Punk music that accompanies this trailer, but where it really shines is with the comedy. I think that there’s a lot of great situations to be had with Ralph and Vanellope in both being stuck in the fish out of water position.

The Wreck-It Ralph sequel received a brand new trailer today, showing off more Easter eggs and a hilarious encounter with Disney's Princesses. Come inside to check it out!
Can you believe it's been six years since Wreck-It Ralph hit theaters? It remains one of my favorite modern Disney flicks and what we've seen of the sequel looks promising. Today's new trailer still may not offer much in the way of what the overall story will bring, but that doesn't stop it from being hilarious:
Stormtroopers chasing Vanellope, Iron Man zooming by, All the Disney Princesses gathered together, and so many other things going on in the background...I'm well and truly sold. Visually, Ralph Breaks the Internet is stepping everything up in a big way, and each scene in this trailer feels packed with visual information to pick apart. While most of the cameos are going to be fun...

“I’m gonna wreck it!”
Ralph is back, and this time, he’s bought a one-way ticket to the Internet, a sprawling online metropolis teeming with clickbait headlines that are all too familiar (“these 10 child stars went to prison – number six will amaze you!”) and other phishing scams designed to hoodwink its readers into pointing their cursors in the wrong direction.
Yes, it can only be the first teaser trailer for Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2, Disney Animation’s long-awaited sequel that journeys far beyond the confines of Litwak’s dinky video arcade and into the World Wide Web. With Vanellope von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman returns to the voice booth) by his side, everyone’s favorite bad guy sets out on a quest to save the Internet – not to mention Vanellope’s homeworld of Sugar Rush – from destruction.

Ralph and Vanellope are back in the first teaser trailer for Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2! It gives us our first real look at their new adventure, which takes them from the arcade to the vast world of the Internet! As you'll see, Ralph is pretty impressed with what the internet has to offer and he's having a great time in this new world that he's entered.
There are some great scenes in here that I'm sure you'll get a kick out of. This is just a little taste of what this movie has to offer, and it's sure to be filled with all kinds of amusing Internet jokes. John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman reprise their roles and as Ralph and Vanellope, and you can see what kind of trouble they will get into inside the Internet in the trailer below!

This morning brings our first look at Disney's Wreck-It Ralph sequel, showing the titular "villain" and Vanellope von Schweetz diving into the world wide web. Come inside to check it out!
One of my favorite Disney animated releases in recent years is Wreck-It Ralph. The gaming centered movie had a lot of heart, genuine laughs, and a solid message that's easy to take in time and time again. As such, I've been eager to see how well a sequel might fair. While we got our first poster for Ralph Breaks The Internet earlier this week, today gives us a look at the film in action:
For the most part, the trailer is all about these characters finding themselves in an all new world, vastly different from the arcades they've known forever. There's not a whole lot of details on the plot (though the synopsis fills in some gaps), but...

Disney is booting up their franchise powers yet again, this time sequelizing Wreck-Ralph, the animated hit from 2012 following an arcade game bad-guy who realizes he can make good. Arriving this fall is the somewhat-peculiarly titled Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2, and the first trailer has landed today.
Starring John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jack McBrayer, Jane Lynch, and Taraji P. Henson, and directed by Rich Moore & Phil Johnston, this time around our heroes jump from the world of videogames to the internet at large. Yet, despite what that could entail, we imagine it will stay fairly family-friendly. Check out the first preview below.

76 women sign open letter to commissioners that claims British drama is “overwhelmingly written by men”.

In an open letter to TV drama commissioners, 76 women, whose work ranges from EastEnders and Casualty to Midsomer Murders, Hollyoaks and Us series How To Get Away With Murder, claimed British drama is “overwhelmingly written by men”.
The letter was prompted by a recent ITV drama release that set out 10 upcoming shows for 2018, but featured just one written by a woman – Gwyneth Hughes’ adaptation of Vanity Fair. The broadcaster has since announced a second series of Kate Brooke’s detective drama Bancroft.

Disney gave us our first look at Wreck-It Ralph 2 in the form of a poster, but they didn't just give us any poster. They gave us a Motion Poster!
Disney's first Wreck-It Ralph, in 2012, was a smash hit with fans of all ages, as the arcade game-themed animated film connected with audiences by capturing the nostalgia from the classic video game era. It was so popular, it earned over $470 million worldwide. It was even turned in the highest opening weekend for Walt Disney Animated Studios, at that time. Fast forward 6 years later, and Ralph is headed to a much bigger platform, the internet!
Check out the first motion poster for Wreck-It Ralph 2 that shows a Google-like search engine throwing Ralph under the bus!

This past week at the D23 Disney Exposition Event, a ton of news regarding the future of Disney franchises was unveiled including the announcement that a Big Hero 6 world will be featured in Square Enix’s Kingdom Hearts III.
With the inclusion of Tangled and Big Hero 6 in Sora’s latest adventure, the speculation of which other Disney franchises could join in on the fun is running wild. Let’s take a look at some of the Disney films that would fit well in the universe of Kingdom Hearts.
We won’t be including acquired franchises such as Star Wars, Marvel, Studio Ghibli or the Muppets neither will we be including Pixar films or else the list would be never ending! Rather let’s focus on Disney films which have a big fanbase or a fitting aesthetic that have unfortunately been omitted in previous installments of Kingdom Hearts.

A classic fairy tale is brought back to life this month with the release of Disney's new live-action Cinderella movie. Downton Abbey's Lily James is the latest star to become a Disney Princess, donning the glass slippers to take on the title role for director Kenneth Branagh.
Though Cinderella is very much a princess in the traditional mould, the ever-expanding Disney tendrils mean that new female characters are being inducted into the studio's roster all the time. The House of Mouse now owns Star Wars, Marvel and Pixar, and when you add the studio's Touchstone Pictures arm into the mix there's a wealth of memorable movies out there.
Everyone knows about Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora and the rest, but Digital Spy wants to highlight those who are part of the extended Disney Princess family. Read on to see our alternative choices below...

Last year, As If celebrated 10 years since it came to an end on Channel 4. Digital Spy looks back on the cult series, speaking to several of the main cast about their memories of the show.
As If: 10 year retrospective of the cult Channel 4 teen drama - part 1
The sad fact with As If, is that it is almost impossible to track down today. The show has never been released on DVD, due to a copyright issue with the music. Without the music, it simply wouldn't be As If.
"Given the choice between no music so we can release the DVD, I'd choose the music," said Caroline Chikezie (Sasha). "They used to say the music was the seventh cast member, it was so important. It just took it to a whole new level. I guess it's worth not having a DVD release just to keep the music."

Back in 2001, the landscape of British teen dramas didn't continue much further than Byker Grove, Grange Hill and a relatively new soap called Hollyoaks.
Since then, we've had plenty of shows that focus on the lives of a group of youths, from Skins to Misfits to Made in Chelsea. But there was one show that arguably kickstarted the modern teen drama without getting the kudos it deserves, and that show was As If.
Last year marked the 10th anniversary since the series came to an end, and so Digital Spy decided to look back on the show and find out what happened to some of its main cast members.

If you want my opinion (which clearly you do, since you’re reading this article), Kingdom Hearts is an amazing game series! A heartfelt adventure that shows friendship is the strongest magic there is. What do you want from me?! I’m a sucker for sappy Disney stories! This past month I’ve been picking up and playing the HD Remixes of the games on PS3. I just finished playing the ever-loving crap out of Kingdom Hearts 2.5 and cannot wait for the third, non-spinoff installment of the series to come out shiny and new for my PS4. But that got me thinking, where do I want to fly my definitely-not-phallus-shaped Gummi ship to in the sequel? Who do I want to team up with and take down Heartless side-by-side with? So here is my list of the top 5 worlds I hope they add in Kingdom Hearts 3! (I specifically went with...

BBC One controller Charlotte Moore has revealed details of a number of new programmes heading to the channel.
Speaking at the Edinburgh Television Festival, Moore revealed that she had commissioned several shows to broaden BBC One's drama, factual and documentary offerings.
The first of these, The Living And The Dead, is a new six-part fantasy drama from the creators of Life On Mars and Ashes To Ashes. It begins shooting next year and, according to Moore, is "steeped in real history and mythology that will scare the audience and awaken the dead".
Set in Somerset in 1888, the hour-long episodes will follow the story of Nathan Appleby, a farmer who has made it his mission to prove the existence of an afterlife. Described by the creators as a "complex and compelling man", Appleby will experience paranormal activity - encouraged by the Society for Psychical Research - until his obsession begins...

So with 2014 already well underway, and an entire new wave of films with great music in them beckoning, join us as we look back to the movies of last year, their finest soundtracks, and the must-listen pieces of music you can dig out on each one.

So here we are in Christmas week, most of the usual streaming companies have done well for you so that you won’t be too bored post turkey when you have to tolerate the family. Apart from Now TV though, there is still a serious lack of Christmas themed films out there which is a disappointment unless you really like the Santa Clause movies because they are floating around Netflix somewhere.
Good news for 2014 though is that House of Cards season two debuts on Netflix in February and also the Breaking Bad/Bob Odenkirk spin-off “Better Call Saul” is going to make its way to Netflix at some point during the year as well. Netflix has agreed a deal where they will stream the show very soon after season one ends on AMC stateside but in Europe they will be the exclusive home of the show. This probably means that...

Disney and Pixar love throwing in little Easter eggs throughout their films to give hardcore fans something to look out for. Thanks to the Disney Blog, we have three Easter eggs to show you that were included in the studio's recent animated fairytale adventure Frozen.
First up! Rapunzel and Flynn Rider from Tangled made an appearance at Elsa’s coronation.
Then, as you can see next to Anna on the table, there's a plate of candy and chocolate from Wreck-It Ralph's Sugar Rush.
Then the last one includes a tiny Mickey Mouse plush that hides on one of the bottom shelves in Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post and Sauna. You have to look closely, but its there.

As far as kids' movie sequels go, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 is really trying to top the original... in weirdness, at least. The new movie introduces us to "foodimals," which are mash-ups of wild creatures and different kinds of foods. There's a tacodile and a hipotatomus and shrimpanzee -- the latter of which is especially crazy because shrimp are animals already. The world of the Cloudy sequel fits right in with places like Wonderland, Oz, Narnia, the Sugar Rush video game of Wreck-It Ralph, Willy Wonka's chocolate factory, and many other magical places in children's movies, most of which were originally invented for imagination-triggering books. If you've ever really looked at kids' toys -- really, really looked -- or especially...
