This is a fun little short film about a groom who wakes up late for his own wedding! It's a matter of his entire future that he get out of the house, get a corsage, pick up a tux and get to the wedding in a matter of minutes. The entire crazy ordeal from start to finish is non-stop mayhem with a few laughs thrown in as well. The frenetic pace is very infectious and you can't help but root for this schmuck to make it to the wedding before his bride-to-be leaves.
In many ways, this film reminds me of several silent films with just such themes. I know that Harry Langdon and Buster Keaton did similar films 70 years earlier and like these comedians, CRAZY LATE doesn't disappoint either. Clever, cute and very well executed (with many well coordinated stunts)--this one is a winner.
