This series is quite good, and although there are some pitfalls in the plot, it doesn't damage the overall excellence. The action scenes were superb. Roger Kwok and Tammy Chen made an excellent funny couple. My highest respect goes to Wallace Huo because of his captivating acting. In this series his performance was so sophisticated and touching that almost overwhelmed all other actors in the series. How can one imagine that a man with a cherubic face like him can blend nicely so many different emotions into one characters that was very reticent? This series was a huge breakthrough for Wallace! I love to see the wonderful chemistry between Wallace and Michelle Yip. The theme song "Your First" by Wallace is also very good. Highly Recommended!!

This is one of the best China mini-series I've ever seen. It consists of 35 episodes, and it has it all: action, drama, comedy, suspense, romance. There's something for everyone in this series.
The story is about the four detectives that works for the emperor's uncle, and the adventures that they go on. The story is wild with martial arts and romance with one big conspiracy that is linked throughout the entire story.
The acting was great. Roger Kwok and Yi Rong Chen were a hilarious couple.Damian Lau really portrayed wits and power of the emperor's uncle. Wallace Huo showed he's more than just a prettyboy. Michelle Yip and Li Yapeng were wonderful as well.
This is a really good show, and I recommend it to everyone!
