After attending a seminar, Derek Conway believes it's time to get back on the Streets, it's not long before he's in the thick of things. Jim Carver attends a robbery at a Bank.
It's a very nice episode, it has a very fresh feel, we see our beloved Derek out on the Streets, and also see the arrival of DC Woods. Woods makes an impact on his first case, and it's a good one, with a surprising outcome.
Tom Cotcher would stick around for a while, and though he perhaps isn't as smart or slick as Mike Dashwood was, he's a little more charismatic, and has a presence.
The glorious Cheryl Hall is excellent here as The Shop Keeper, lovely in whatever she does, be it Dr Who or Poirot.
A very fresh, excellent episode, 9/10.
