The Persuaders and every spy in the business are after a British Agent for his highly confidential memoirs, nevertheless, before retrieving the manuscripts, they must first find them.

Whilst being exchanged for a Soviet spy at a remote border crossing freelance agent Felix Meadowes goes on the run and asks his old school friend Brett to help him lie low. He has written his memoirs and both the British and American governments, the latter employing Danny as their man, are anxious to retrieve them. Danny and Brett are now working against each other and to complicate matters Felix has two wives, and has made provision for both in the event of his death. The memoirs are actually on a microfilm hidden in Felix's toupee, but who will get to them first?—don @ minifie-1

At an Allied Checkpoint, during the negotiations to arrange an exchange between a Soviet Agent and Felix Meadowes, the hottest and most important freelance spy in the business, something goes terribly wrong and the British Agent flees to London. Having no one trustworthy enough to turn to, Felix seeks Brett's help to aid him to stay low while every agent in London is after him for his highly confidential memoirs, before he gets the chance to publish or sell them to the highest bidder. As both the British and the American Intelligence recruit Brett and Danny individually to retrieve the documents that would make all spies redundant, in the process, the two friends will eventually become rivals, however, where is the real manuscript hidden?—Nick Riganas
