NBC and the Television Academy announced jointly today that Kenan Thompson will host the 74th Emmy(R) Awards. The three-hour, coast-to-coast live telecast from the Microsoft Theater at L.A. A couple of months ago we heard that a movie was going to be made about a 23-year-long game of tag that a group of friends, who call themselves the "Tag Brothers," have been playing since they were in high school. The Wrap is now reporting that Will Ferrell and Jack Black are attached to star in the film. When the movie was first announced it sounded like the kind of film that would pull in an ensemble comedy dream cast, and it looks like that's started.

The film will be adapted from a Wall Street Journal article that was just picked up by New Line Cinema. This is all based on real life events that are still going on today. Every February this group of friends continue to play their nationwide game of tag.

An hour later, McCarthy addressed the separation on her Twitter page, revealing that she will always love Carrey's daughter, Jane Erin Carrey, who gave birth to the actor's first grandchild in February.
