Is it cute? Yes. Is it well-made? Sure. Is Danica McKellar just about the sweetest actress this side of ... well, actually I can't think of anyone to put on the other side of her, so someone else will have to finish off that sentence.
So YES it's all pretty decent looking, with decent production values. And the acting is uniformly decent as well. The problems are in the writing, because the final cut is plagued with an abundance of freeze-frame voice-overs, giving us backstory on some half-dozen different characters. Add in the fact that our plucky heroine commits actual felonies in pursuit of her case (not to mention ignoring actual embezzlement) and you have to wonder why they made a police procedural without a police advisor .... and then the camera does a slow pan down Ms McKellar's low-cut dress to the cell phone in her hand, and it seems that it may be a big step up from Charlie's Angels (or Angels Revenge), but it's still TV.
