This film is an interesting TVdrama like portrait of a French political left-wing true republican man. The film itself is not very well made and suffer of low investment in its production. Nethertheless P.Dumayet script writer is very rigorous concerning the main character's Biography. Claude Brosset is a very convincing F.V. Raspail. I regret that this film does not show how much Raspail was a very important scientist of his time. Anyhow,I would recommend to see that film to anyone interested by the European history and particularly the "birth of the nation" or so called 1848 revolution.Raspail is there depicted as he was a man without concession who pay an heavy tribute to his political choice.
