Featured review
After a decent (but not great) opening act, and a strange introduction by Bob Odenkirk, we get Brian Posehn, Patton Oswalt and Maria Bamford. Of the three, I think only Oswalt has really become a success. Posehn has remained a lower tier comic, and Maria Bamford is largely unknown. But how did they do here? Bamford is first, and even less funny than the opening act... which is pretty terrible. I would rather have done just about anything than listen to her try to be funny -- those voices and faces just are not cutting it, Bamford. I never looked more forward to seeing Posehn.
Posehn was decent, actually better than I expected. I only really know him from doing nerd cameos in movies and television, but his stand-up is pretty decent. Who knew he was such a vulgar man? Oswalt is, of course, the headliner. And while he may be a total jerk in real life, he is pretty funny on stage... but you already know that.
