- TriviaThis marks the first time Willie, the one-eyed mailman speaks as well as explaining how he lost his eye.
- GoofsAlthough the episode of Cops takes place in 2003 (before Earl began his list) it shows Nescobar-A-Lop-Lop complaining in English that he was tricked into eating pork. Nescobar is not supposed to have learned English until after he took an English class taught by Earl. Earl does not teach this class until after he has started his list, which was after the filming of the fictional Cops episode.

Yeah.
I don't watch this show often. It's in syndication now, and I'm a casual fan of the guy's new show Raising Hope, so I catch Earl sometimes when I'm home and it's being show in the afternoon on one the crap local channels.
I usually don't get into it and it serves as nothing more than background sound most of the time, but this episode made me laugh my balls clean off. Tim Stack, Mike O'Malley and Kathy Kinnie all have great guest spots and Jaime Pressly especially kills it in this one. The direction is great as it captures the feel of an actual COPS episode (one of the worst TV shows of all-time in my opinion, and one of the most bafflingly popular phenomenons in this country) and the writing is very quick. The plot moves along at a great pace and the dialogue never ceases to be hilarious.
Easily the best episode of the show that I've seen. Maybe I'll start watching this more often. It's either this or Dr. Drew, and seriously, f-ck that guy.
