Mistakenly considered a goof: When the Ti Chow (director Stephen Chow) is cutting away the rotten part of the apple, he is cutting with the wrong side of the knife. This appears at 0:12:45 and is actually a poor man's technique to avoid cutting away solid flesh of the apple. Another technique is to wash the rot away in a small bowl of water - running water is too expensive.
