Bret Harrison and Tyler Labine both reprised their Reaper roles on an episode of the ABC drama Kevin Probably Saves The World.
Bret Harrison was cast based on his work in the Law and Order SVU episode Guilt (2002), which producers Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters also wrote. His character in that episode was also named Sam.
Missy Peregrym plays Andi, Sam's love interest. Years later she would starred in Rookie Blue (2010) playing a character named Andy who is the love interest of another Sam (Swarek).
In 2018 Missy Peregrym's new show FBI and Tyler Labine's new show New Amsterdam both premiered on Tuesday September 25th which was the same day Reaper premiered back in 2007.
