Jessica's grandmother was presumably Catholic. As she had a crucifix, rosaries, and a Bible that referred to sacraments. All fixtures of the Catholic Church.
While the Daily Wire had merely purchased the rights to their first movie they released, Run Hide Fight (2020), this is the first film they actually produced on their own from day 1. They in fact intend to create an entertainment branch of their media company as an alternative to Hollywood which they consider to be too far left wing. And to create movies and shows with values that reflect traditionally minded Americans.
Not to be confused with "Shut In" (2015) and "Shut In" (2016). You can tell "Shut In" (2022) apart by the fact that it made the least money, and has the fewest viewer ratings of any of the Shut In movies.
