Final Fantasy: Xiv has officially launched its newest Alliance Raid with the 7.1 Crossroads update. Echoes of Vana'diel is the first section of Dawntrail's Alliance Raid, in which players enter into three groups of eight players. However, before entering the newest raid's first tier, players must complete a few quests to unlock their ability to queue for it.

Echoes of Vana'diel is particularly exciting for many players because it finally crosses over Ffxiv with the first Mmorpg in the Final Fantasy series: Ffxi. If you're ready to explore a new area that might have a touch of nostalgia to it depending on if you played Ffxi, you first need to be Level 100 on any Disciple of War or Magic class, complete the Dawntrail Msq, and have an item level of 695 to enter the raid. Once you meet these conditions, it's time to head to Tuliyollal.

U.S. director-screenwriter Paul Schrader will serve as president of the features jury of the 30th Sarajevo Film Festival, which runs from Aug. 16 to 23.

Schrader will be joined on the jury by Swedish actor and producer Noomi Rapace, Finnish director-writer Juho Kuosmanen, Sarajevo-born, Paris-based director, writer and editor Una Gunjak, and Slovenian actor Sebastian Cavazza.

The jury will announce the winners of the Heart of Sarajevo awards on Aug. 23.

Schrader first made his mark as a screenwriter with “Taxi Driver” (1976), directed by Martin Scorsese, and his collaboration with Scorsese continued with films like “Raging Bull” (1980).

The much-awaited debut of the anime adaptation of the smash hit web novel and webtoon Solo Leveling has finally a release window, along with two exciting trailers and key visuals showcasing the main characters of the series.

On March 21, 2023, the official accounts of the upcoming Solo Leveling anime announced that the series will debut next winter. New Delhi, July 8 (Ians) Led by Microsoft, global revenue for the public cloud services market reached $545.8 billion last year, an increase of 22.9 per cent over 2021, according to a new report.

Top 5 public cloud service providers – Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, Salesforce, Google, and Oracle – captured more than 41 per cent of the worldwide total and growing 27.3 per cent year over year, according to the latest Idc data.

With offerings in all four deployment categories, Microsoft remained in the top position in the overall public cloud services market with 16.8 per cent share, followed by Amazon Web Services with 13.5 per cent share.

Software as a Service – applications (SaaS-applications) continued to be the largest source of public cloud services revenue, accounting for more than 45 per cent of the total in 2022.

Oliver Wood, whose work as a cinematographer included such big-budget action films as The Bourne Identity and two of its sequels, along with studio comedies like Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, has died. He was 80.

Wood died Monday, Feb. 13, surrounded by loved ones at his Hollywood home following a battle with cancer, his agent Ann Murtha told The Hollywood Reporter.

He is known for working with a long list of prominent directors, including John Woo on Face/Off (1997); Adam McKay on Talladega Nights (2006), Step Brothers (2008), The Other Guys (2010) and Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues (2013); Edward Zwick on Jack Reacher: Never Go Back (2016); Antoine Fuqua on The Equalizer 2 (2018); and Daniel Espinosa on Safe House (2012), Child 44 (2015) and Morbius (2022). His work on Paul Greengrass’ The Bourne Ultimatum (2007) earned Wood a BAFTA Award nomination for best cinematography.

Oliver Wood, the veteran cinematographer behind several of the “Bourne” films, “Step Brothers,” “Talladega Nights” and “Face/Off,” died Monday, Feb. 13 of cancer, his representatives confirmed. He was 80.

The British director of photography acquired 60 credits over his five-decade career, including beloved action and comedy hits like “Die Hard 2” (1990), “Freaky Friday” (2003), “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby” (2006), and “Jack Reacher: Never Go Back” (2016).

Born Feb. 21, 1942, Wood moved to New York City at age 19 and found work on B-movies such as cult crime film “The Honeymoon Killers” (1969) and as a camera operator on “Body Rock” (1984), among others. He broke out in the film industry following his work on “Miami Vice,” where he was primary Dp from 1987 to 1989.

Neil Gaiman spent years (and years!) trying to bring his beloved comic book series "The Sandman" to life on screen, for much of that time as a movie, which consistently kept falling apart at every turn. Now available from Madison Gate Records comes Morbius Original Motion Picture Soundtrack – Music by Jon Ekstrand from the latest blockbuster Marvel/Sony superhero film.

The soundtrack features 23 tracks by Ekstrand, who researched sounds that bats make and pushed his orchestra to replicate those sounds using instruments throughout the score.

Also due to the vampiric nature of the infamous Marvel antihero, the Swedish composer was also inspired by classic horror scores by the likes of John Carpenter, leaning in to the character’s monstrous nature rather than creating your expected superhero score.

Apple has greenlit the pyschological thriller series “Constellations” with Noomi Rapace and Jonathan Banks attached to star, Variety has learned.

In “Constellation,” Rapace stars as Jo, a woman who returns to Earth after a disaster in space only to discover that key pieces of her life seem to be missing. The series is further described as a space adventure, an exploration of the dark edges of human psychology, and one woman’s desperate quest to expose the truth about the hidden history of space travel and for her to recover all that she has lost.

Apple has given the show an eight episode order. Peter Harness serves as writer and executive producer on the series under his Haunted Barn Ltd. banner. Michelle MacLaren will direct the first two episodes and executive produce. MacLaren is also directing the upcoming Apple series “Shining Girls” and has also directed an episode of “The Morning Show.

Composer Jon Ekstrand and director Daniel Espinosa go way back. They went to film school together, where they collaborated, partied, and bonded over movies. After years of collaborating on movies such as "Snabba Cash," "Child 44," and "Life," they've now teamed up for their first comic book movie, "Morbius." A new trailer for Sony Pictures’ “Morbius,” starring Jared Leto as a comic book hero with a form of vampirism, has arrived. The movie was twice delayed by the pandemic after originally being set to come out in July of last year before finally settling on a January 28, 2022 release. “Morbius” is based on the Marvel Comics series of the same name by Roy Thomas. In the comics, Leto’s Michael Morbius is a scientist suffering from a rare blood disease whose attempts to find a cure result in him acquiring the powers of a vampire. The supporting cast includes Adria Arjona, Matt Smith, Jared Harris, and Tyrese Gibson. “Morbius” is the latest directorial effort from Daniel Espinoza, who last directed Jake Gyllenhaal and Ryan Reynolds in the space thriller “Life.” He also directed “Child 44” and “Safe House.”

New Delhi, June 16 (Ians) In the context of public discourse regarding detection of new variants, Niti Aayog Member (Health) V.K. Paul has reminded that the newly detected 'Delta Plus' variant is not yet classified as a Variant of Concern (Voc).

The variant was observed in Europe in March and has been notified and brought into public domain on June 13 this month.

Curzon will be venturing into people’s homes via their Curzon Home Cinema service, with a specially curated series of films with the support of world-class filmmakers including Ruben Östlund, Celine Sciamma and Andrew Haigh.

The virtual cinema experience of curated films will be shown over the coming weeks, with people around the country encouraged to watch along together to retain the magic of the collective viewing experience. The films will be followed by an exclusive live interview with the director talking from their own personal isolation.

The series will launch on Friday 27th March with the release of System Crasher (courtesy of 606 Distribution), followed by a live Q&a with director Nora Fingscheidt. The live Q&a will begin at 9pm (GMT), and Curzon encourages people at home to watch along together from 6.45pm (GMT). The film will also be available on the service from the morning of Friday 27th March.
