Don't expect too much
Sameer lodaya
This movie is the remake of South Indian movie gaddalakonda ganesh but as trailer reveals don't expect too much
This time Akshay has tried a different role rather than his last social heroic roles but he carried and played this character very well with kirti arshad and Pankajji
The prosthetics of Akshay like his ceramic eyeball his costumes his jewellery and aesthetics like his vintage car along with his stylish walk made the outlook of the character very strong..the movie is hilarious with tangy dialogues
The negative parts are firstly the songs which are not hitting the charts ..secondly the movie could be more hilarious but it was wasted in building pandeys character and other commercial aspects like love story ,mother son disturbed relation and revenges ..thirdly Pankajji was less explored and came in late second half.. fourthly the climax was a typical Hindi movie..fifth the movie is released with ongoing hit the Kashmir files
Watch this for commercial entertainment.

Originality is Unalive in Bollywood
Bacchan panday is Hindi remake of a telgu remake which is remake of a kannada remake of a South Korean movie, thus proving my point. Now the South Koreans have a certain panash in their characters they actually pay writers to create intresting characters with deep personalities but in Bollywood land of unpaid writing interns and samji and nadiawala this is a distant dream. Won't lie Akshay is good in movie but his character is as plain as it gets like you saw everything intresting about this movie in its trailer. The days of solo carry stars are long gone it's time that Bollywood actually invests in original scripts with depth. Also request to audience look at writers & Directors not actors before deciding on a movie, it may save you a few bucks.
Devoid of Tangible Drama and a Strong Emotional Base
A story that has already been put together in three different ways by three different industries before; it was indeed a hefty challenge this time for the creators of Bollywood to add their own touch, their own mannerisms into it. Despite obvious adjustments and some fundamental amendments done to the script, the outcome still hasn't turned out in a way you might expect.
Now, let me ask you a simple question. What do "Mass" entertainers need the most? Tons of action? Some great dialogues perhaps? Or a strong base of emotions? I'm sure in your answer, you would be picking at least one of these characteristics. If that's the case, stay away. Why? Well, to put it bluntly, Bachchhan Pandey has got none of it. Barring the ever charismatic Akshay Kumar and a stupendously humoristic Pankaj Tripathi; there's hardly anything worthy of a mention over here.

Waste of time
Original is original. 'Bachchhan Paandey' is cheap remake. If you watched Goddalakonda Ganesh then don't need to watch. Goddalakonda Ganesh hindi dubbed version available on YouTube. Go & watch.

Bhaukaal sirf trailer tak simit tha
From the name and the trailer that I saw things were looking interesting but now that I have seen the movie I can't say the same. The direction is all over the place. Not even a single scene was captivating. Songs are bad as well. Akshay looked good and has acted decently apart from him others were okaish. Commercial cinema is fun but only when it's made properly. Watch it only for Akshay.

Waste of actor like Akshay kumar
No story and pathetic casting. Avoid please. The start gave goosebumps but just 2 mins into movie, you realise what a cartoon movie this is. Both halfs of movie are super bad.

No brainer, Pure entertainment.
I don't know why there is so much hatred surrounding this movie. I absolutely loved the way they have shot. Akshay kumar has amazing screen presence in this movie. His comic timing is great as always. The background is griping and terrifying. Jacqueline has very short role as usual. Glad they didn't extend the love story piece too much it would have become really boring.
Kriti, as always, is improving with every movie. She could be our next mega iconic female star. She has a very big role which was nice to see. I'm not Akshay kumar fan, but this is one aspect of Akshay kumar films i like, he does not have hunger to be the sole star of the film. He doesn't mind second lead role.
Good watch if you are looking for pure entertainment.

Nice movie with with nice comedy and action.
What does one need more? One has action, comedy, romance and drama all combined in one movie. Akshay Kumar is doing some serious acting in this film, he is not at his best, but still very good from what he has been doing for the past few years. I downloaded this movie, illegally I might add, from the internet and just now gave it a watch. I believed it would be just another quick watch, with a predictable story-line and predictable dialogues. But I was wrong. It has a nice intriguing story and good catchy humour.
I believe Indian audiences have grown wise in the past few years and only prefer movies which have a very strong script and also less or no songs. Quite like what is shown in Hollywood. The 'masala' generation of movies are now history or going to be out of fashion in the coming years. But had this movie been released 10 years ago, it would have earned a lot both commercially and critically.
I, for one. Prefer 'masala' movies as a form of entertainment and education, one can relieve stress and also learn something along the way, like some good dialogues or catchy-songs etc.
Plus from me, but sad to know this movie didn't earn much at the box-office. And also sad to know that 'masala' movie types are going to be a thing of the past in the coming years.

Crap
Too many cooks spoils the broth this line is so true for this movie. There are 6 writers for this movie which is not even an original story. Bollywood has to give it's audience good content to watch otherwise with these types of flashy nonsensical, non-original movies will slowly start to keep audiences away from threater. There is nothing good about this movie not even songs, actors like Pankaj Tripathi has been wasted and producer-director seems to bank on one person's stardom, this is not going to work. STOP MAKING THESE TYPES OF MOVIES.
It's ONE OF MY FAVS
I understand it might not meet everyone's expectations and it's a south remake which makes it worse. But, tbh this is a good waste of time. I mean a good time pass movie. It actually turned out to become one of my favs. Especially because of the ending. I understand it's not that good and it has a silly storyline but its Nadiawala Grandson's movie. What can we expect? Otherwise, it's actually AWESOME!!!
No overacting
This time Akshay did good acting no overacting character was good , one time watch , little boring in mid of movie ,lengthy , rest all characters are played nice role.

Pathetic Movie
We should not waste our time, money and positive energy in these wasteful 3 hours drama of non sense action, songs. Instead we should do reading or even watch good movies again.
Disaster
Another disaster of Akshay Kumar Loading. Worst film of the year. Useless acting by akshay Kumar. Disaster written all over it. Save your money don't watch it in theater. After Bell Bottom another disaster of Akshay Kumar.

Not great but good
Good to see Akshay Kumar back into his old comedic acting style. It has its funny scenes and decent acting. Not bad. It definitely is a one time watch movie but that doesn't mean its boring just not something you will want to watch again soon, Arshad Warsi as usual did a nice job.

Not to waste Rs. 1 too
Zero story and poor direction so naturally acting is sub-standard. Avoid and invest your money by watching TKF once more. Director (naam hi kafi he) thought he can divert the earning of TKF by releasing this movie. But now audience is smart enough to understand the trash and treat the movie accordingly.

Nice
Along with the comedy, there are also a few shades of emotions in the movie. This keeps the movie from becoming boring and doesn't make it seem like it's the same thing over and over.
All about Akshay!
The story is about upcoming filmmaker pursuing a gangster to make his biopic (or as bachchan says it's a toothpick. 😊). Movie has a feel of a small town western and loved the music (vam, vam, vam) everytime bachchan enters.
Like most Bollywood movies, Bachchan has a typical love story from the past. He also wants to be portrayed as a fearful gangster in his biopic but the filmmaker has other plans. This leads to Bachchan giving up his life of crime.
Some of the performances were lacking but I thought Akshay carried the movie.
Overall refreshing and entertaining!

Nadiadwala Entertainment is having a great time, and working with their favourite actor, Akshay Kumar, has made him even better than he already is. Seeing Akshay Kumar on screen in this movie is a treat for people who aren't used to seeing him.

A Chaotic Mess of Quirky and Cliched Characters !!!
When a struggling filmmaker and actor set out to make a biography on one of the most dreaded gangsters, they have little idea about just how crazy and dangerous it's going to be. 'Bachchhan Paandey' is a remake of the 2014 Tamil film 'Jigarthanda'.
Welcome to Baghwa. This is a land so lawless where cops are beaten by the goons in broad daylight and journalists are burnt alive. The gundas here only speak the language of guns and the most notorious of them all is Bachchhan Paandey (Askhay Kumar) - jiski aankhein aur dil dono patthar ke hain. The larger-than-life persona of this hitman catches the fancy of a struggling filmmaker Myra (Kriti Sanon), who lands in Baghwa to make a full-fledged feature film on him. Her friend Vishu (Arshad Warsi) is a struggling actor, who reluctantly agrees to help her in this doomed mission and thus begins a bloody roller coaster ride that is marked by death and destruction.
It's an interesting plot, but sadly we have seen it all in the trailer that pretty much reveals the entire story. 'Bachchhan Paandey' doesn't deliver the goods consistently. It's a massive setup that seems heavily inspired by the Tarantino school of filmmaking. There are sweeping slo-mo shots of the protagonist driving around in his vintage open car in dry and arid landscapes of North India and an eerily cheerful background score that ensures his dark deeds don't evoke much fear within the audience. Then, does it evoke comedy? Well, no because barring a few jokes (as seen in the trailer) there aren't many more to begin with. This despite a mix of of talented character artists, who are known for their impeccable comic timing. Like Sanjay Mishra, who plays the stuttering Bufferia Chacha or Pankaj Tripathi, as the tyrant acting coach Bhaves Bhoplo from Gujarat. They bring in the laughs when they deliver their punchlines, but their characters are eclipsed by so much else that's going on in this chaotic mess. Arshad Warsi has more screen time but doesn't ever get a chance to shine in this dark comedy.
The first half is used to set up the story, but doesn't move at a desired pace. Thankfully, there are some minor conflicts and plot twists that make you look forward to the second half, however the screenplay takes forever to make a point. The music is a big letdown and only adds to the runtime.
Akshay Kumar gets to have the most fun playing a lunatic killer, who has a backstory, but it's barely convincing. Kriti Sanon looks gorgeous and performs well within her character. Jacqueline Fernandez as Paandey's girlfriend Sophie is so repetitive and restricted that it's hard to tell this one apart from many of her previous roles. Ditto for Prateik Babbar, who plays a goofy goon once again and doesn't leave a mark. Abhimanyu Singh and Saharsh Kumar Shukla are entertaining as Pendulum and Kaandi, respectively.
For the action fans, there is enough brutality and bloodbath that is shot in slick frames. Given that it's a remake of a formula film in the genre of dark, action comedies, 'Bachchhan Paandey' replicates what has already worked in the south. But even with all its grandiosity and starpower, this one only manages to entertain in bits and pieces.

Boring movie , akshay is repetitive acting is unbearable
Boring movie , akshay is repetitive acting is unbearable, i think its time to boycott bollywood , total time waste, they cant even make remake good. They cant copy, watch instead telugu version.
Worst movie I ever seen 😐
At the same time, the story of waste has been put, nor is it a foot to remain intoxicated. Over acting in the name of acting nonsense story in the whole picture. The more I thought it would be a better picture, the more nonsense it is. I would say only one thing, don't see, don't see.
