Score a winner for Quasarman in his current gig with Wicked Pictures, as this intricately written romantic drama is quite involving, not the usual feature that dissolves into sex-is-all.
Avil Love is the daughter in question, angry at her mom (Mercedes Carrera) and still loyal to the dad who's left. Quasar manages to craft a sympathetic romance for Carrera with blind date (at first) Tommy Pistol, latter giving a far more sensitive and sympathetic performance than his usual creep roles.
Surprise reveal of the identity of her dad climaxes the movie, leading to yet another surprise in terms of its unexpected happy ending. Mike Quasar manages to make a heartwarming picture, against all odds given the gonzo/cynical bias one would expect.
