I attended the pre-release and was surprised to find a movie with such a well developed script, complex plot, and thought provoking under tones. The set location was well chosen, and added to the sense of isolation while also removing distractions and allowing the viewer to focus on the story. The story itself provided well scripted ambiguity, thus allowing for multiple interpretations, but with the ending bringing it all together in a clear manner, but without being cliché.
The characters were portrayed well, with distinct personalities that changed slightly at times (drug induced hallucinations, or distorted perceptions of the lead character - you decide!). The confusion of the lead character was clearly communicated to the viewer without overstatement and the main under tone of her having to come to terms with her own personality flaws was subtle but clear. This is a movie that keeps you contemplating numerous subjects well after the final credits.
I truly hope a wide audience see and enjoy the film as much as I did. Congratulations Marianne on a fine project!
