FIFA 2005 has become one of the most memorable games in the series, offering players several significant innovations and improvements. This game has confidently consolidated the franchise's position as a leader among football simulators, becoming the benchmark of virtual football at the time of its release.
One of the striking features of FIFA 2005 was the introduction of the mechanics of the game "into the wall". This element of tactical interaction allowed players to easily beat the opponent's defense, playing quick combinations and effectively entering striking positions. The goals scored after such draws have become a real decoration of the matches, and it is thanks to this feature that the game has received its unique dynamics. This technique made it possible to feel like a real master of combination football, which added depth to the gameplay. But the downside of the coin was monotony, because scoring was essentially possible only with such a limited opportunity. The creators overreacted again. In the last game of the series there were goals from long distances, in this one - playing "against the wall".
FIFA 2005 offered enhanced opportunities in a career mode that allowed players to manage their club for 15 seasons. This innovation made it possible to fully immerse yourself in the long-term development of the team, build your football empire, develop players and lead the club to new heights. The length of his career allowed him to enjoy not only victories, but also deep strategic decisions that influenced the future of the team. The developers seemed to hear my dissatisfaction with only five seasons in the last FIFA, where you could get out of the lower leagues and win the Champions League only if you win every season in your career.
Another significant addition was the ability to create your own player. This feature allowed every gamer to realize his football dream in the virtual world by customizing the appearance, characteristics and style of play of his character. The created player became an integral part of the team, and this added personal involvement to every victory and defeat. Of course, visually such a character immediately caught the eye because of the features of the face. And in general, all the created players were quite similar to the "original" of the blank. But still, the created player is a cool innovation.
The game has an amazing soundtrack. Paul Oakenfold, one of the most famous DJs and producers, created music that perfectly fit into the atmosphere of the game. The soundtrack filled the menu with energy and drive, creating a unique musical accompaniment for the game.
It is also worth noting the presence of two dozen real-life stadiums, which were detailed with great attention to detail. Players could experience the atmosphere of real football arenas, immersing themselves in the authentic atmosphere of iconic stadiums around the world. These elements made the game more realistic and made every match really exciting.
FIFA 2005 has become one of the most successful games in the series, combining innovative gameplay elements, an improved career mode, player creation and a great soundtrack. I still fondly recall smoother animations and improved graphics. Anyway, the later games in the series began to merge with each other in memory, since there was nothing special and memorable in their arsenal. This game in the series is still impressive.
