Through the Wormhole, the Science Channel series Morgan Freeman hosts and exec produces, returns for a fifth season June 4 with an episode asking the question, “Is poverty genetic?” You’ll have to wait until the July 2 episode, “Is Gravity an Illusion?”, for the hour that features him on helium — a clip that has more than a million views on EW.com alone.

Way back in November of 2011 we told you about Haunted, a Victor Salva flick starring Saw's Tobin Bell. Years passed. Things changed. The flick has a new title, Dark House (not to be confused with the kick-ass Darin Scott film of the same name), and it's on its way home.
Bell (pictured) stars alongside Leslie-Anne Down (Rosewood Lane) and Luke Kleintank ("Bones") in his first feature role. Anthony Rey Perez (Don't Pass Me By), Alex McKenna ("90210"), Zack Ward ("In My Pocket") and Max Gail ("Barney Miller," "Gary Unmarried") co-star.
Look for it in stores on March 11, 2014.
Synopsis
When Nick Di Santo learns that his father is not only alive but can possibly reveal the origin of his son's dark gift, he sets out on a trip that takes him to an abandoned mansion he thought only existed in his childhood imagination.

Coming off its highest-rated and arguably its strongest season creatively, The Big Bang Theory, which nabbed the Critics Choice TV Award in June, was a prime contender for the best series Emmy on Sunday. It wasn’t to be, with Modern Family repeating as a winner for a fourth time, but you can’t blame co-creator/exec producer Chuck Lorre for going prepared (or maybe he jotted down a few notes just in case after dark horse winner Merritt Wever’s train-wreck onstage appearance). At the end of Big Bang‘s seventh season premiere last night, Lorre posted “The Emmy Speech That Stayed In My Pocket.” It includes reminders to breathe and not cry and lists the people he didn’t want to forget thanking — the TV Academy, the fans, CBS‘ Leslie Moonves and Nina Tassler, Warner Bros’ Peter Roth and PR team Tammy Golihew and Susan Kesser, the cast,...

Born at 10:14 p.m. and weighing in 8 pounds and 13 ounces, Theodore Ignatius Fitzpatrick came into the world on Friday (September 20), welcomed by proud parents, Kaylee DeFer and Michael Fitzpatrick.
“Kaylee was a rock star!” the proud new dad said of the birth to Us Weekly, him being a rocker himself. His plans to go on stage with his band drastically changed when Kaylee went into the delivery room.
The “Gossip Girls” actress spoke about the surprise news of her pregnancy in early May, saying, “We weren't planning on getting pregnant, so right now we're just enjoying being pregnant.” The couple apparently did not have plans to marry.
Also, if fans want to see more of Kaylee, then they can check out some of her most recent movies, including “In My Pocket” and “Darkroom,” each of which premiered this year.

It's not all that uncommon for toy companies to re-release or make new versions of popular toys from the past, to satiate the desires of nostalgic nerds like ourselves. In fact, it's something that's been happening more and more often, in recent years. Just to give a couple examples of what I mean, Hasbro recently released a line of Jurassic Park toys, done up in the vintage style of their original line, and '90s gross-out icon Doctor Dreadul even made a triumphant return not too long ago, unleashing a whole new batch of gooey and disgusting drinks and experiments. Yum. Snots. But though it's not uncommon for toy companies to dip into the vault, and exhume the rotten corpses of vintage treasures, it's still not nearly common enough. Here are ten horror themed toys from the past that I'd love to see Herbert West inject with his special green serum,...

Before you write "The Host" star Jake Abel off as a pretty-boy lead in yet another supernatural romance aimed at teens, you should know: a Twihard he's not. He hasn't even read the "Twilight" series. That didn't stop him from being intrigued by the script for "The Host," based on "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer's sophomore effort, a sort of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" meets, well, "Twilight" story. Abel's character, Ian, is one of the last humans on Earth who hasn't become host to a benevolent alien race intent on taking over the planet. Ian's group of vigilantes takes in Melanie (Saoirse Ronan), who has been taken over by an alien named Wanderer or, as she is eventually known, Wanda. Ian eventually comes to have feelings for Wanda, but there's a hitch: His Bff Jared (Max Irons) used to date Melanie, pre-alien. Uh-oh.

Alanis Morissette is back with a new album, and tells HuffPostUK being "angry" was a limiting classification
Alanis Morissette is in full, articulate flow. Having banished a pair of publicists so we can “just chat”, the Canadian singer-songwriter is as open and forthcoming as you would never expect her to be, given her complex attitude to celebrity, openness and even intimacy, documented through the years, not least through her own music.
"I just do not need to see this"
She reveals one part of touring she likes best is “meeting people, talking” – and she’s on full reflective throttle today…
“You’re dealing with strangers who don’t have to own their projection, they just get to go for it.

Lady Gaga's support of sophomore effort "Born This Way" has been unprecedented. She's rolled out several singles, high profile videos and multiple high profile interviews (including our own amazing special "Inside the Outside"), all in the interest of rewarding her Little Monsters with more access while also expanding her fan base. But could it be that the most crucial 5 minutes for gaining new fans came sitting behind a piano solo in front of Howard Stern pounding out "The Edge of Glory"? My unofficial survey says "yes."
Since her appearance on the show July 17, I've spoken with various pockets of people across all demographics who would not consider themselves Lady Gaga fans. Upon hearing her naked version of "Edge of Glory," they have been left stunned and converted. All have said the same combination of things: "I had no idea she could sing like that." "She is the real deal.
