The first US dubbing started in 2002 which in 2003 was continued by another company. The picture and script were adjusted to make it more suitable for the Western audience. Between 2002 and 2003 a total of 130 episodes were dubbed in this style.
Between 2006 and 2011 an English language adult parody was dubbed. The script was made even more adult oriented than the original Japanese version. 78 adult episodes were made.
In 2015 and 2016 there were 26 episodes translated to English by LUK Internacional close to the original script and uncensored.
In 2022 an amount of 52 special segments (equaling about 15 episodes) were dubbed for airing on Amazon Prime.
Outside the US there has also been English languaged dubbing produced. 12 segments, which equals a total of 4 episodes, have been dubbed in English for the South Korean market in 2007.
