At the airport, announcements are made for one Frank Oznowicz and one Jerry Nelson. This is a reference to Frank Oz (whose real last name is Oznowicz) and Jerry Nelson, both former Muppeteers.
During the last song, "My Best Christmas Yet", the Swedish Chef is in the background greeting a turkey and giving it a hug. This is the same turkey the Swedish Chef almost cooked in A Muppet Family Christmas (1987).
Paul Williams, who plays Santa's chief elf in "Letters to Santa: A Muppets Christmas", also portrayed Santa's chief elf, Ed, in the TV movie The Night They Saved Christmas (1984).
