This anime series is centred on Sueharu Maru, a high school student who was a child actor until a tragedy struck his life. His neighbour is childhood friend Kuroha; she has romantic feelings for him but he is interested in the beautiful Shirokusa, a girl at his school who is an idol and an author... unfortunately for him he learns that she has a boyfriend. Kuroha offers to help Sueharu get revenge on Shiokusa and her boyfriend.
This isn't a terrible series; it isn't a stand out either; it is just something one watches then forgets... so much so that by the time I came to write this I'd forgotten much of the initial set-up - not a great sign. Perhaps it will be better for new viewers as they won't have to wait a week between episodes. On the plus side I do recall laughing a sufficient number of times in most episodes and there is nothing offensive going on. The character designs and animation are solid enough. Overall I wouldn't call this a must see but it passes the time well enough if you like the genre.

The best friend trope in anime is one of its largest. Typically, the childhood best friend in a romance anime turns out to be the loser in the romantic triangle. This series twists that trope by rooting for the "childhood best friend" to actually win. Initially, it was something fresh off the table, creative and fun. I like how they gave more flesh to each of the main protagonists by giving them additional purposes/goals other than romance. Along the way, the anime copied the typical harem formula growing less peculiar and more stale. The energy in the beginning obviously did not match the end. However, the animation was good along with the voice acting.

It's just an overload of cringe
Dumb characters doing dumb and cringy things. The MC it's suposed to be this big child actor and yet he becomes relevant again because... he dances? It all feels like bs.

All because I loved the way story was presented the main character is a dumb looking one but it's fine.and after I completed this anime I know that those three will never him no matter what. I loved it so much I can't wait until the next season you know. It deserves all the stars.
I want to watch this anime until the end it's way to good.
I looked it that's why I am looking forward to the next season.

I thought I had found a gem when this started. I rated the first episode 9 and it spiraled down from there...
So many poisonous/trashy characters and so much cringe. I just can't relate to the main character in his choices and reactions to the horrible behaviour of some of the characters he sees every day... why, just why...
