This film by NGSMOOV won First Place at the 2009 BotCon Film Festival. It was also included in the Shout! Factory Transformers G1 Collector's Edition DVD Box Set.

Director/Animator Randall Ng took the stage at Paramount Studios and accepted the award on behalf of fellow producer Dan Didsbury and crew.

Years later, Randall Ng worked on Shout! Factory's Blu-ray release of Transformers the Movie.
