Destiny’s Child is one of the biggest, most influential R&b-pop girl groups of all time.
The legendary troupe first debuted in the late ‘90s, delivering hits like “No, No, No,” “Bills, Bills, Bills” and “Say My Name” that sent them skyrocketing to superstardom in the music industry.
Throughout the years, the group experienced several member lineup shake-ups, before ultimately landing on their most well-known iteration, dubbed “DC3.” Together, the trio would release fun, empowering smashes like “Survivor,” “Bootylicious” and “Independent Woman Pt. 1.”
Since their last studio album in the mid ‘00s, Destiny Fulfilled, all of the members have gone on to embark on solo ventures expanding beyond music into acting, writing, presenting, and appearing as judges on popular reality TV shows.

Here are five things to know about the future Mrs. Adam Levine. 1. She's a Preacher's Kid: "I grew up in a small town in Namibia. Smart Ass comedy adds Essence Atkins of Dance Flick. The actress joins Marlon Wayans in the independent film which Wayans is helming alongside Mike Tiddes, reports Variety. Apparently its a spoof of various found-footage flicks like The Devil Inside and the Paranormal Activity films. As long as they don't spoof the winning Chronicle, I'm Ok with it. Smart Ass is being produced by Lisa Blum and Rick Alvarez , and currently filming in Los Angeles. Atkins' previous credits include Dance Flick from Paramount Pictures, Love for Sale, Preacher's Kid, and is in TBS' comedy...

Written and Directed by Stan Foster, Preacher's Kid is a story inspired by the biblical Prodigal Son, and though delivered through a modern perspective, it's surprisingly true to the concept. It's surprising, because it's a story without answer or direction, and one that focuses on a concept which all but forces audiences to demand both. LeToya Luckett stars as Angie, daughter of a preacher and singing hopeful, who finds her way to a traveling gospel show, and believes she's found her calling. Both in the idea of performing in the show, and in the show's star, Devlin (Durrell "Tank" Babbs). The allure of showbiz, and Devlin's attention lead Angie to life on the road, to the great disappointment of her father. Of course, she soon learns that such a life isn't quite what she expected, and being involved in a gospel show doesn't exactly mean you're the model of religious behavior.
