Not Homeland, that is just a flipped poster, LOL
I wanted to watch this movie for all the hype surrounding it. I believe it makes more sense to promote this more to the Muslim community as they are affected with radicalism and brainwashing by way of Islamic teaching and preaching.
One other reason I wanted to watch this movie was for the fact that the poster of the movie is copied from American series "Homeland Season 4", but it has no other similarities to that show, and I was relieved to find that out.
Otherwise it is a slow movie, though the story could have been narrated a little better. Nonetheless, I would recommend 1 watch at 1.5x speed.
Thanks!

Very Powerful Movie
Is it really a bollywood movie shooting for which began around 10 years back?? Too good to be true! Good acting by Pawan Malhotra and Amir Bashir... Brilliant direction... Intense background score... Shocks you... Moves you... Chokes you... Hits very hard... Must watch for everyone who wants to understand this disease...
Everything shown in this movie is a reality experienced world over since roughly 14 centuries... Can't believe why the censor board would want to politicize such an honest and direct work of art... Hope big banners take a lead and we get to see more of this...
One note about the Indian audience - If you don't watch such rare movies in large numbers... You will be continually forced to watch the usual bollywood garbage... Art deserves recognition...

Secularism at its best
A Movie coined as Right wing just to earn money. Total cashgrab! This movie has very very very poor story telling and narration is almost zero. The director should pay you 50 rupees to watch this movie.
I was waiting for this movie to show something substantial, something to hook upon but it has none. The poster girl is nowhere to be seen in this movie. This movie is based on a series of dialogues rather than actual narration. Color grading is at its worst. It will remind you of black and white era of Bollywood.
You won't see any pun in the movie, no good dialogues, just secularism, secularism, secularism.

Not made for non-muslim audiences
This movie approaches the issue from a soft logical perspective to the Muslim community without offending by using any straight forward Qu'ranic references like 78:33, 37:48-49, 38:49-54, 44:51-57, 52:17-20, 55:46-77, 56:7-40, 78:31-38, etc. The movie created a very provocative hype in non-muslim communities by its title and mysterious thumbnail but in-movie contains a very soft rational approach towards the concept of afterlife paradise. It tries to put logic in mind of those who believe "Is'lam me akal ka koi dakhal nahi." Translates to "In Is'lam there is no need for interference of rational."
And with it's ending it showed a Aayat from Qu'ran 5:32, they should've red the following verse of 5:33 too, it clarifies everything.
So overall, if directors were confident and kept your storytelling validated through the scriptural references, then it will be far more logical and educational content for both muslims and the non-muslims, otherwise I'll say this movie is just created to make some money with a below average script and actors.
If this movie was produced to make the radicals really watch and use their moral compass to reconsider about what they learn in Madrasa, then they should've made this movie by a Muslim director and the title and imagery less provocative and more generic like "Afterlife Paradise" or "Jannat Jahunnam", etc. Instead of offending the Muslim community to not even watch the trailer and Non-Muslims to stay confused.

Superb movie and direction
The way of story telling is so different and amazing.
The reality of such an important but brutal truth explained in a hard hitting cinematic way.
The black and white way of showcasing the life of radicalized people is so different. What a brilliant way of explaining that heaven is right here , on earth with our loved ones.
We as a society should discourage the radicalization of young minds. The truth is explained in such a straightforward way that by killing innocent people you would never go to heaven or Jannat .
Topic relevant to the whole world. 10/10
Must watch for all.
Three cheers for the makers of this movie.

Wonderful, eye opener
A must watch movie, completely an eye opener. There was a time in our country India when in bollywood no one was willing to make films on these sensitive topics as the governments were not in favour of letting the reality come in front of the people of the country. Because their political agenda could have disturbed. But now current government is not fear calling spade a spade, so now even in bollywood some directors are not hesitating in making such bold movies and taking the reality come out in front of general people. That's the real beauty of freedom of expression in film making i guess.
Best of the luck to the film makers and people must go and watch this movie.

Must watch - Eye opener
Everyone must watch the movie. Would have been better if certain important scenes were not cut by the board. But overall it shows the scary and taboo subject in a professional manner. Everyone should know and realise the dangers of the fanaticism of this religious fundamentalism and peacefullness. Which leads them to commit sins against humanism and the very basic tenets of life and existence. Must watch before some activists file complaint and stop the movie. Truth needs to be shown to people as it is without any additions and the team has done a good job with it. No doubt a certain section wants this movie to be banned.

Amazing Movie
Amazing Movie...Every one should Watch...Bhagwad Gita and Ramayana also speak that an individual should perform their duties. In the Bhagwad Gita, Lord Krishna said that everyone should do their duties without expecting anything.
Veer Savarkar once said that "I have learnt my duties in my mother's lap, she was an illiterate woman but knew what was my dharma". The beauty of this ancient thought is that the performance of duty protects our right and rights cannot be divorced from duties. Swami Vivekananda once rightly said, "it is the duty of every citizen to contribute and participate in the development and progress of India.

Strong and Relevant storyline, must watch
Must watch movies , need strong heart to watch. Eye opener for Jihadis, 10/10 Stars. Pawan Malhotras Acting is exceptional. Great Direction and Acting. Picturisation. Is superb, black an white imposing great effect in story line, some where used colour which is very sensible and beyond usual direction. The Shantipriya Samuday people should watch at least one time, they know the realism of this 72 hurrein. How they are being mind washed and keep apart from beauty of real life. They don't know the value of life on earth. Must watch movies for everyone. Great great great movie. After watching the scenes are flashing front of my eyes.

Awesome cinematography, acting
This is an awesome experience, stunned to see the acting . You won't be bored. There is no way you will leave the movie for a minute. Shows the reality of some people who are really brainwashed and can go to any extent to achieve what they have been told to do just for the sake of some stupid believe. Really great way to portray the reality in reel life making people understand the mindset of some hardcore blind believers will do anything to get to 72 hooran. Even in such an advanced world with access to internet we still can misuse human by pouring some Stupid idea of 72 hooran after death and those dumb men will accept it and will act accordingly.

Tremendous movie. Best picturisation, nice storey. The two young guys, Hakim and Saqib, are essential to the storyline of the movie. The pair also deals with Maulana's manipulation. It was time to prepare for jihad and launch a suicide strike against Mumbai's Gateway of India. In the meantime, Maulana entices them by claiming that jihadis travel to Jannat after jihad. Additionally, he claims that this is where 72 Hoorain meets them. He continues by saying that Allah's angels will follow them about like their shadows. The filthy tricks used to lure people into becoming terrorists are the main focus of the '72 Hoorain' movie. The best aspect of the movie is also that it doesn't need preaching to get its point through. Anil Pandey wins hearts with his fantastic narrative in the meantime. The striking directing of Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan is another high point of this unusual drama.

Must watch for the directorial brilliance if not for message
This movie is an experience...a piece of art and must be watched for the direction and cinematography apart from the message, excellent performances and vision.
It won't be an exaggeration to compare with Schindler's list or stalker in terms of cinematography. It has lot of hard hitting and thought provoking dialogues.
You will be in awe of the director's imagination when the 2 souls are shown sitting on the station clock, the train scene and the dogs chasing the souls scenes. The look on Bilal's face when he realises his mistakes and kind of sin he has done is excellently performed.
Definitely a must watch and in theaters.

Pure cinema - superb!!
Although we all love the likes of fantasy world of Avengers & Harry Potter, we gotta commend the incredible effort that goes into bringing hard truths and grim reality onto the silver screen. It chokes me to hear how the director, producer and team had to go through multiple fire tests to get the movie released.
The B&W effect chosen as the color tone to act as the backdrop of the dark reality that gets busted is simply a film making masterstroke, something that taken from the pages of Steven Spliberg and other great directors
I wish this motion picture is chosen as an Oscar entry. Thank you for making such masterpiece.

True Facts
One of the best movie i ever seen, my best wishes for the film director and script writer, This is not just a movie but a truth, and I support this truth.
No God of Niya tells humans to walk on the wrong path, but if someone says so, then he is not a God, he is a wrong messenger. Nor does any god force humans to call themselves god.
The filth of Bollywood has made humanity dirty every time, but humanity is still alive in some people who inspire humans to live like humans, Many more such films can be made which can show the right path to the society. Many thanks to the makers of the film Thanks.

Title: "72 Hoorein: A Captivating Journey of Love and Redemption"
"72 Hoorein" is an emotionally charged film that takes viewers on a gripping journey filled with love, loss, and redemption. Directed by auteur Mira Nair, this thought-provoking drama seamlessly blends romance and social commentary, leaving a lasting impact on its audience.
Set against the backdrop of bustling Mumbai, the film revolves around the lives of two protagonists, Aamir and Zoya, portrayed brilliantly by talented actors. Their paths cross in a serendipitous encounter, leading to a whirlwind romance that blooms amidst the chaos of the city. However, tragedy strikes, leaving them both devastated and yearning for solace.
What sets "72 Hoorein" apart is its ability to delve into deeper societal issues while maintaining an engaging narrative. Nair's directorial finesse shines through as she tackles themes such as religious divide, communal harmony, and the power of love in overcoming prejudice. The film raises pertinent questions about religious intolerance and the impact it has on personal relationships and social fabric.
The performances delivered by the cast are commendable. The chemistry between the leads is palpable, and their portrayals of pain, anguish, and ultimately, resilience, are captivating. The supporting cast also shines, adding depth and authenticity to the storytelling.
The cinematography is visually stunning, showcasing the vibrant colors and contrasting textures of Mumbai's diverse neighborhoods. The city itself becomes a character in the film, reflecting the diverse cultural tapestry of India.
The screenplay, while compelling, does suffer from occasional pacing issues. Some sequences feel rushed, and certain plot points could have been further explored to enhance character development. However, these minor shortcomings are overshadowed by the film's overall impact.
Additionally, the music and sound design play an integral role in "72 Hoorein," enhancing the emotional impact of pivotal moments. The heartfelt melodies and soulful lyrics stay with you long after the credits roll.
"72 Hoorein" is a powerful cinematic experience that stays true to its core message of love and compassion triumphing over adversity. It sheds light on the resilience of the human spirit and the potential for healing and growth even in the most challenging circumstances.
In conclusion, "72 Hoorein" is a must-watch for those who appreciate thought-provoking storytelling infused with love, social commentary, and powerful performances. Mira Nair's directorial prowess and the film's exploration of societal issues make it a standout piece of cinema that lingers in your thoughts long after you leave the theater.
