Pan-Indian star Prabhas has signed a three-picture pact with production banner Hombale Films, following their collaboration on “Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire.”

The deal, which includes the upcoming “Salaar Part 2” and two additional features, represents one of the largest talent-studio partnerships in Indian cinema. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The agreement strengthens Hombale’s expanding slate, which already includes the anticipated sequels “Kantara 2” and “K.G.F: Chapter 3.” The production house has established itself with hits like “K.G.F: Chapter 1,” “K.G.F: Chapter 2,” “Kantara,” and “Salaar: Part 1.”

Mumbai, May 6 (Ians) Actor Karan Singh Chhabra has pushed the envelope for his character in the upcoming film ‘Chatrapathi’, for which he says he gave his blood, sweat and hair.

Mumbai, May 2 (Ians) The trailer of the upcoming film ‘Chatrapathi’ was unveiled on Tuesday. The film is the official Hindi remake of S. S. Rajamouli’s Telugu blockbuster of the same name. The trailer gives audiences a sneak-peak into the high octane action and heady dose of entertainment with the leading pair of Sreenivas Bellamkonda and Nushrratt Bharuccha.

The film marks the Hindi debut of Bellamkonda, and has been directed by Vv Vinayak with a script written by S. S. Rajamouli’s father and veteran writer V. Vijayendra Prasad

The song ‘Bareilly Ke Bazaar’ from the upcoming film ‘Chatrapathi’ was unveiled on Thursday. The song is a party number and features actress Nushrratt Bharuccha and actor Sreenivas Bellamkonda.

It has been crooned by Sunidhi Chauhan and Nakash Aziz and is a lyrical play around on the ‘Jhoomka gira re Bareli ke bazaar mein’ from the famous song by Asha Bhosle.

The song features Arabic textures sonically with thumping beats on the drum machine. The music of the song has been composed by Tanishk Bagchi with lyrics penned by Mayur Puri.

Talking about the song, Sunidhi Chauhan said, “‘Bareilly Ke Bazaar’ is a very sensuous track and the beats are addictive – We tried bringing in a flavour and vibe that would appeal to the masses and can’t wait for them to hear it.”
