Well, the 2021 Thai movie "Game Changer" (aka "Kong Phlik Kem") came and went without stirring much of anything. I stumbled upon the movie by random chance, and I was intrigued by the movie's cover. However, I hadn't even heard about the movie prior to watching it. So I wasn't sure what I should be expecting from director Tiwa Maytaisong.
Turns out that director Tiwa Maytaisong didn't really deliver much of anything worthwhile. The movie was bland, so very, very bland. While it is watchable, it is a movie that didn't really particularly win me over. And I was sitting with a sense of 'what was the point of this storyline' all throughout the course of the movie.
And the character gallery in "Game Changer" wasn't particularly interesting either. I can't claim to have found much of any liking to the characters, so I didn't really submerge myself that much into the movie, especially since the storyline was just so downright mundane.
I can't really categorize "Game Changer" because the movie was all over the place.
I wasn't familiar with the cast that starred in "Game Changer", but they had very little to work with in terms of a proper storyline or interesting characters. So the performances were sort of matching to the rest of the movie, you know, bland.
My rating of "Game Changer" lands on a generous three out of ten stars.
