Its hard to tell as there are definaitly some real lies hidden within the series.
In one episode it is asserted that the Home Guard never fired a shot in anger during the whole of World War 2. This is untrue, individual Home Guardsmen helped man anti-aircraft guns as far back as the Battle of Britain during the summer of 1940. By 1943 the Home Guard operated it's own dedicated batteries of anti-aircraft guns and rockets plus costal defence artillery as well as engaging German planes with their machineguns. They are credited with shooting down numerous Luftwaffe aircraft and the V1 flying bombs which followed them in the summer of 1944. The Home Guard's first official kill was a shot down on Tyneside in 1943. The Home Guard in Northen Ireland also took part in gunbattles with groups of IRA terrorists operating in support of the Nazis, losing several men in the actions.
In one episode it is asserted that Wyatt Earp was only ever part-time lawman. This is untrue, he was elected the Constable of Dodge City which was a full-time post . It is also stated that the Gunfight at the OK Corral was actually a dispute over a previous robbery Wyatt Earp had taken part in. This is untrue, Earp and Clanton were in dispute as they were competing for the reward offered for the arrest of a pair of Ike Clanton's friends who had robbed a stagecoach. Wyatt Earp's character proclaims that 'It wasn't much a gunfight seeing most of their side didn't have guns'. Whilst Ike Clanton and Billy Claiborne were indeed unarmed both of the McLaury brothers had pistols and wounded Virgil Earp, Gordon Earp and Doc Holiday during the course of the gunbattle. Billy Clanton was shot whilst attempting to grab the rifle he kept in his saddlebag. The initial reason for the confrontation was that the brothers were carrying guns within the city limits. This was illegal under Tombstone's laws and as town marshalls the Earp brothers had a duty to disarm them.
In one episode it is stated that the Allies developed a mechanism for machineguns to fire through the propeller of their fighter planes (known as the 'interruptor') and it was then adopted by the Luftwaffe after they captured a crashed RAF fighter. Actually it was the other way round, the Luftstreitkräfte (WWI German Air Force, Luftwaffe didn't exist until the thirties) developed the system first and the Allies adopted it after recovering an example. Roland Garros of the French Air Force developed a crude system of armoring the propeller with deflection plates, and it was the recovery of his crashed aircraft that inspired Anthony Fokker to design the first interrupter gear system. Those separate incidents probably wound up conflated into one and led to the error.

Yes but her story has a happy ending. She later becomes the personal masseuse of the Princess of Wales and dies aged 76 leaving over two and a half thousand pounds in her will which was a grand age and a fortune in the Victorian era.
Mary Seacole was not a frontline nurse, she opened a club for officers and made a lot of money.
