Demi Moore, Ali Larter, and Billy Bob Thornton are stepping out for the premiere of their new Tyler Sheridan series!

The stars posed for photos at the Landman premiere on Tuesday evening (November 12) held at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles.

Fellow cast members in attendance included Jacob Lofland, Paulina Chavez, Octavio Rodriguez, Michael Pena, Mustafa Speaks, James Jordan, Kayla Wallace, and Jr Villarreal.

Billy Bob and Ali had the support of their respective spouses Connie Angland and Hayes MacArthur at the premeire.

Skipping out on the L.A. premiere was Jon Hamm, but he did attend the London premiere last week.

“I’m politically incorrect sometimes,” Billy Bob Thornton said during a Q&a after the first episode of new Paramount+ series “Landman.” “I think you should always show two episodes to an audience. That’s the first thing. The other thing I think you ought to do is open up questions for the audience.” He paused. “We’re not able to do that tonight, and we did not show two episodes.”

The crowd and Thornton’s fellow cast members roared. The moment was in keeping with Thornton’s persona but also his starring role in Taylor Sheridan’s new series, set in the contemporary Texas oil fields.

As Taylor Sheridan continues to crank out TV shows at breakneck speed, he has enlisted Billy Bob Thornton as his latest leading man for new series Landman.

The Paramount+ series is set within the world of oil rigs in West Texas and stars Thornton as Tommy Norris, a crisis executive at an oil company. Thornon previously had a small role on Sheridan’s series 1883, which helped spark the idea of his own series.

“I went to the [1883] premiere in Las Vegas, and after that we had a dinner and Taylor sat next to me and he said, ‘Listen, I’ve got a thing I’m going to write around you. According to a new report from Variety, the Paramount Network juggernaut just delivered its biggest ratings to date.

“Yellowstone” is finally back.

Taylor Sheridan’s series, which last aired a new episode on Jan. 1, 2023, is the most popular show on TV. Given the lengthy time off, exacerbated by two Hollywood strikes and the prolonged tug-of-war between Sheridan and star Kevin Costner (which ultimately led to his departure), anticipation for the show is at an all-time high.

Going into the second half of season 5, there is a grab for power in the Dutton household, between Jamie (Wes Bentley) and Beth (Kelly Reilly), with Kayce (Luke Grimes) also in the mix. Rip (Cole Hauser) was headed with the herd to the 6666 ranch in Texas. And tensions were otherwise running very high. Everything is ready to explode.

Taylor Sheridan’s phenomenally popular series, the most-watched show currently airing on television, returns on Sunday, Nov. 10. The new batch of episodes (six in total) serve as the second half of the show’s fifth season, which began way back in November 2022. Since then, the show has endured a very public feud with its star Kevin Costner, two strikes that shutdown Hollywood and a considerable amount of handwringing about what direction the series will ultimately take.

And while it appears that the mainline series is coming to an end, although that “final season” bit has been left out of the marketing materials for the second half of season 5 (so far), there will still be plenty to come from Sheridan’s considerable “Yellowstone” universe. Fellow cast member James Jordan was also in attendance along with Jon‘s wife Anna Osceola.

Taylor Sheridan’s 1923 will be coming to Paramount Network. Season 1 of the Paramount+ Original series will begin airing on Sunday, December 8, immediately following a new episode of Yellowstone Season 5, Part 2, the network revealed today. Season 2 of the Yellowstone prequel, starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, is currently in production.

1923 follows a new generation of Duttons led by patriarch Jacob (Ford) and matriarch Cara (Mirren). The series explores the early 20th century, when pandemics, historic drought and the end of Prohibition all plague the mountain west, and the Duttons who call it home.

Paramount+, the streaming service of Paramount Global, will launch two new subscription tiers in the U.K. and Ireland on Nov. 20, its basic (with ads) and premium plans. They will join the standard tier.

The basic (with ads) tier will be priced at £4.99 ($6.45) per month in the U.K. and €5.99 ($6.45) a month in Ireland, while the premium plan will cost £10.99 ($14.19) and €11.99 ($12.90) per month. The price of the standard plan will change to £7.99 ($10.30) and €8.99 ($9.67) per month from £6.99 ($9.02) and €7.99 ($8.60).

Exclusive: Oscar nominee Andy Garcia (The Godfather Part III) has joined Anthony Hopkins and Michele Morrone in the cast of sports biopic Maserati: The Brothers.

In the film about the brothers behind the iconic Italian car, Garcia will play Mr. Rossini, described as “a central figure in the story of the brothers”. Morrone will star as brother Alfieri Il Maserati. Hopkins will play an Italian financier who bankrolls the family.

The film will be produced by Italy’s Andrea Iervolino his new film and TV outfit called The Andrea Iervolino Company and directed by Oscar winner Bobby Moresco (Crash). Filming is due to get underway at the end of next month in Italy.

Hacksaw Ridge is a biographical epic war drama film directed by Mel Gibson from a screenplay co-written by Robert Schenkkan and Andrew Knight. Based on the 2004 documentary The Conscientious Objector by Terry Benedict, the 2016 film follows the story of Desmond Doss, who joins the army after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbour but refuses to handle weapons and engage in war instead he chooses to serve as a combat medic in the American army.

Paramount has announced the lineup of movies, TV shows, and live sports coming to the Paramount+ streaming service in November. The Paramount Plus November 2024 schedule includes Taylor Sheridan’s Landman, which navigates the fortune-seeking world of Texas oil rigs.

Kicking off the month, Frasier returns with Season 2, Episode 8, on November 1, followed by a lineup that includes Tulsa King and Lioness episodes throughout the month. Viewers can look forward to the highly awaited premiere of Yellowstone Season 5B on November 11, along with the complete drops of Hawaii Five-o Seasons 1-5 and NCIS: Los Angeles Seasons 1-12.

The MTV European Music Awards on November 12 promises to be a star-studded event for fans of music and entertainment. “Sorry to Bother You” filmmaker Boots Riley is back with his next feature, and he’s assembled an impressive cast for his sophomore film.

Riley’s next film, which he wrote and will direct and which Neon has boarded to finance and produce, is called “I Love Boosters” and will star Keke Palmer, Naomi Ackie, Lakeith Stanfield, and Demi Moore.

“I Love Boosters” is about a ring of enterprising boosters (aka shoplifters or equal opportunists), who take aim at a cutthroat fashion maven. Additional plot details are being kept under wraps.

Neon hopes to release the film theatrically in the U.S. and is representing sales rights internationally. Principal photography is supposed to begin this fall, and additional casting is underway.

SkyShowtime, the European streaming joint venture of Comcast and Paramount Global, on Tuesday unveiled the upcoming launch of a new advertising-free premium plan, which will be offered alongside its existing “Standard With Ads” and standard, previously named “Standard Plus,” plans.

The introduction of SkyShowtime Premium follows the launch earlier this year of the ad tier and will become available in all of the streamer’s more than markets simultaneously on Oct. 29, including Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Norway, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.

Pricing for the Premium plan starts from €8.99 per month ($9.87) but will vary from market to market, compared with the Standard Plan whose cost starts from €5.99 ($6.57), and the Standard With Ads plan starting from €3.99 ($4.38). The prices of the existing plans will not change.

Paramount+ has revealed the official trailer for Lioness Season 2, which will premiere on Sunday, October 27, with two episodes. The espionage thriller comes from Oscar nominee Taylor Sheridan.

The eight-episode Lioness Season 2 will debut exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. and international markets where the service is available.

The opener sets up the tense first look at the return of the Paramount+ espionage thriller from Taylor Sheridan. The stellar cast is back — including Laysla De Oliveira, Genesis Rodriguez, Michael Kelly, and executive producers Morgan Freeman and Nicole Kidman — when season two premieres Oct. 27 with two episodes.

Now that the fall season premiere season is finally upon us, I am practically buzzing with excitement.

It’s difficult to contain myself because that means Chicago Fire Season 13 is right around the corner!

Last season’s finale was rife with cliffhangers and jaw-dropping moments that have had all of us reeling since May. We’re more than ready to dive back in.

Season 12 was a condensed installment, consisting of only 13 episodes instead of the usual 22.

The return of a full season means we’ll hopefully have more time to spend with some of the characters, developing their individual storylines in a way that there wasn’t time for last year.

Fox’s Accused is a cut above the rest.

Anthological series are rare, in large part because it is difficult to tell a series of stories in a constructive manner that the audience can understand.

Thanks to Accused’s formatting, the series has a full beginning, middle, and end to each story.

However, the risk is that an audience could fall off throughout the season because there of zero connective tissue between each installment.

Fortunately, that wasn’t the case with Accused’s premiere, which pulled off a near-impossible feat in modern television by bringing in eight million live viewers, a number that continued to accrue in the days following.

With its familiar and laudworthy casting, strong performances, and compelling stories, Accused had a winning formula for registering with the audience.
