A very intimate look into the personal Nosferatu. Maybe all the other movies got him wrong, Maybe he was gravely misunderstood, What if all he really needed was a friend.
I was lucky enough to watch this film the same night watched the original. Doing so had really given me a close connection to the character, so i was happy to follow up with some insight into what Nosferatu might have really had in mind.
The scene of rushing through the birds in the park was a new approach to beauty in film. I was definitely reminded of the classic scene of Frankenstein w/ the child, Edward Scissor Hands or of the recent horror classic FIDO, The bike ride through the neighborhood was warm and surprisingly sweet for a film about the undead.
The filmmakers struck gold in casting the lead role, by nailing such an iconic character. Wonderful filming, great idea.
I love this film. Would love to see an actual screening of it.
