When their time comes, superheroes go out with a bang. They sacrifice their lives to save the world in a grand gesture of heroism. Take Black Widow and Iron Man for example, they didn’t think twice before sacrificing themselves for the greater good. However, when Titans’ Donna Troy aka Wonder Girl tried to do something similar, it wasn’t quite appreciated by the fans, for all the right reasons, may we add.

Played by Conor Leslie, Wonder Girl was a main character in seasons 2 and 3, after having a guest role in the first. However, things didn’t end too well for her when she collapsed to her death in the finale of season 2. The episode was released toward the end of 2019 but fans still have a hard time making sense of her awful and absolutely unnecessary death.

The first season of the Boston-set Frasier reboot obviously didn’t feature the late John Mahoney as Martin Crane, and David Hyde Pierce famously declined the opportunity to return as Niles, ultimately leaving little connective tissue between the two shows. And we haven’t even mentioned the fact that Frasier’s son Freddie now has an entirely new face.

At least Season Two will bring back Peri Gilpin’s Roz in a “recurring capacity,” and apparently Bulldog and Gill will make an appearance for some reason. After all, who amongst us wouldn’t travel across the country just to visit an ex-co-worker?
In a lot of ways, Frasier 2.0 feels like just another Kelsey Grammer sitcom, of which there have been many. So let’s take a look back at some of the Grammer-led comedies that probably would have done better had he simply changed the main character’s name to “Frasier Crane,...

When the cast of Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four was announced on Valentine’s Day, the announcement coincided with the release of a poster with a style suggesting a 1960s setting for the movie.
That leaves fans questioning how and if the eponymous superhero team will enter the present-day Marvel Cinematic Universe to interact with Avengers members like Spider-Man, Thor, Captain Marvel, and the Hulk.

But a recent theory suggests the Fantastic Four may already have an established relationship with one MCU hero in the form of the original Ant-Man, Michael Douglas’s Hank Pym.
It’s time to look into the potential logistics of that scenario and how the timescales might work out.

In the universe of Barry, where Barry and Sally had begun a new life as Clark and Emily, their very survival was threatened once more. This time, Gene Cousineau was to blame for the issue because of his association with Warner Brothers Production House to make a movie that would depict Barry’s life from Gene’s point of view. Barry would surely receive a demeaning portrayal in this film. Recognizing the implications this could have for his son, Barry quickly decided that he needed to get rid of Gene in order to disrupt the film production. Barry was anxious to shield his image and save his kid from the anguish of knowing his father was a killer. But the question remains: how far would Barry go to shield his son from this truth?

There’s a big difference beyond adaptation and assimilation. One is additive. The other is subtractive. One deals in compromise with two sides adjusting their perspectives to create a mutual path forward. The other declares a status quo and works towards enforcing it through whatever oppressive means are necessary. To not understand the crucial conflict that exists between those terms is therefore very rarely a matter of ignorance. It’s instead the by-product of entitlement. To expect another human being to adapt to your idea of “normalcy” via language, culture, religion, etc. is to automatically embrace the role of aggressor because you never sacrificed your own towards that same goal. You just determined your identity was “normal.” Possessing that kind of power means you can never also be the victim.

Benjamin Walker is to play Hank McCoy aka Beast in X-Men: First Class, according to Showbiz 411.
Earlier tonight, it was reported that he had been offered a role in the film, which was speculated either to be Beast or Banshee.
Beast, who has superhuman agility and strength, was played by Kelsey Grammer in X-Men: The Last Stand. The character originally had a human appearance before an experiment progressed his mutation and gave him blue fur, claws and fangs.
Walker is the star of New York's hit musical Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, which had been planning to transfer to Broadway in the autumn but would now have to wait until he is finished filming on X-Men.
He joins James McAvoy, who is playing the younger version of Patrick Stewart's Professor Charles Xavier.

Reincarnation crime drama "Past Life" has moved on to the TV afterlife.
Fox canceled the struggling and widely panned show after only three episodes, making "Past Life" the 10th series to get the ax in what's been a relatively bloodless season for broadcasters.
It's been six months since the networks launched their fall lineups, and the five broadcasters have each dumped only about two shows on average.
Fox and ABC have jettisoned the most with three titles each. In addition to "Past Life" -- which was rejected after Thursday night's last-place performance and will be replaced by original episodes of "Kitchen Nightmares" -- Fox canceled comedy "Brothers" and Joss Whedon drama "Dollhouse." ABC shed freshman comedy "Hank," magical drama "Eastwick" and veteran "Ugly Betty."

TV Guide has released their list of shows that are safe for the rest of the season and those that are "on the bubble," the shows that are in danger of being canceled. There are a lot of shows on the latter list that aren't a surprise, such as Hank, Gary Unmarried, Cold Case, and The Forgotten (I'm surprised Cold Case even made it to another season).
But among the list of shows are a few that I didn't think were in danger, including Gossip Girl and Fringe. I know that Gossip Girl isn't a show that gets incredible ratings, but that describes The CW in general, and I figure that even if it gets low ratings it's sort of the network's signature show. As for Fringe, the ratings are a lot worse this season than last season, but it would still surprise me if the show went away, especially...

Mad Men's infamous foot-dicing secretary found another job! Crista Flanagan, who became a permanent part of Mad Men lore on Sunday when her character ran over an ad exec's foot with a lawn tractor, is joining ABC's new Kelsey Grammer sitcom, Hank. The actress, who also spent three years on MADtv, will play the recurring role of Dawn, the wife of David Koechner's Grady and sister-in-law to Grammer's Hank. She replaces Gilmore Girls alum Melissa McCarthy, who dropped out when she landed a supporting role in the Katherine Heigl-Josh Duhamel romantic comedy, Life as We Know It. The fate of Flanagan's Mad alter ego, Lois, was left up in the air in last week's episode, although it's hard to imagine Sterling Cooper keeping her on in the wake of hoof-gate.

ABC is getting a head start on firming up its fall premiere dates.
The network has announced when nearly all of its primetime shows will debut in a few months. ABC wants to get the word out to potential advertisers, and plans to use the dates in summer marketing campaigns to promote the shows.
The roll out has a pretty standard formation, with the network firing most of its big guns during the usual broadcast premiere week that starts Sept. 21.
Once again, ABC will have three nights of "Dancing With the Stars" before reducing the reality show to its usual two-night pattern. The added evening of "Dancing" also helps stagger the debut of the network's Wednesday night comedy block, which will feature “Modern Family” and “Cougar Town” debuting Sept. 23 during premiere week, then 8 p.m.-hour additions “Hank” and “The Middle” completing the block the following week.
