Just to be clear, I'm enjoying the series. It's neither gritty like Fauda nor complex like Homeland, but it's ok for a bit of contemporary Geo political light entertainment (I use the word advisedly).
However, although I am quite into watches, and appreciate that large ones have been fashionable for some time now, why are the men in this series wearing CLOCKS on their wrists? It's completely unnecessary and as opposed to completing "the look", they just end up looking ridiculous.
Narrative: a bit clunky and contrived but as I said for me it's light entertainment so I'm trying to keep my expectations in check. For example the live feed (no spoiler - you'll see what I mean if you watch it) in reality would not have been broadcast live. Obviously in real life some things have slipped through on YouTube but I don't recall that a live broadcast has ever happened.
Lastly, I appreciate that the situation is deeply distressing for the mother but if I'm watching light entertainment (which this is) then my brain is in light entertainment mode and simply cannot deal with overly stressful outpourings of emotion and emotionally over heightened scenes. I feel that the writers (or whoever) have capitalised on this a bit too much in order to gain impact, but it's not necessary because the situation speaks for itself.
