Some claim that the Sulis rebellion was the starting point for the famous crisis settlement/Main Agreement in 1935, where cooperation between labor and capital laid the foundation for the Norwegian and eventually the Nordic model. Where it was possible to negotiate between employer and employee in a calm and respectful way, both ways.
The policemen in the movie are armed with German Mauser 98K rifles; a rifle model that wasn't designed and produced until almost three decades after the year of the movie's plot. Norwegian Krag-Jørgensen rifles would have been more historically accurate.
