If anyone has rated this higher than 3 stars, they're connected to the film and they're trying to put one over on you. This is a steaming pile.

The film maker obviously thought he as being very clever with this one. One-joke characters and poop jokes for 70 minutes, coupled with bad lighting, bad editing, bad sound, bad acting.

Want to know what happens when a bunch of idiots do a lot of drugs and then try to make a movie? This is it. These idiots should all be marooned on a deserted island so they never can make another movie again.

I just discovered Seaver yesterday but the two movies I have seen were way above average for the low budget horror/comedy genre. I was disappointed that there weren't any blood farts but that doesn't really hurt the movie. All the characters in this movie are hilarious. I'm going to watch every Chris Seaver movie I can find.
This was atrocious. Sometimes the comedy works, like in a Troma movie but here....no. Just no. The dialogue was straight up embarrassing. The characters were throat punch worthy. I have no more words.
Well I was very pleasantly surprised with this movie. I had no idea what to expect, knowing only that it was a micro-budget movie and was going to be silly. All the characters are certainly unique from each other, pretty exaggerated and original. Yet most are stereotypes - we've got the fat goth chick, the d-bag guy from Jersey (who wears a Britny Fox shirt with cut-off sleeves!), and the close-minded redneck, to name a few. The Caspian character is especially a riot with his facial expressions, accent and vocal inflection. There's so many random lines of quirckily outrageous dialogue (most of it dirty) that that fact alone keeps you tuned in. I laughed out loud at least a dozen times.
Now, the plot isn't very thick, in fact, it barely exists (but who cares): Some kids go up to a cabin for the weekend and begin getting attacked by a guy in a mask. The description on the Low Budget Pictures webpage even says "Witness deaths the likes of which you have TOTALLY seen before and better! One part Friday the 13th, one part Ernest goes to camp and 3 parts cream cheese." The special effects are crap, though decent by micro-budget standards. There's a little nudity, when one skinny gothy-girl takes off her top.. though I would've liked to see Ashley Sawyer (played by Nichole LaRoche) do it instead.
All in all, this movie's a riot, and I recommend it to anyone wanting a good laugh.

Well, a movie such as "Terror at Blood Fart Lake" definitely didn't spur much of any hopes or excitement for me when I sat down in 2021 to watch it. Sure, I had never heard about the movie before now as I watched it, but the movie's title and its cover just made me want to watch it, even with the chances being overwhelmingly in favor of this being a horribly lousy movie.
Luckily, then writers Ron Bonk, Lauren Seavage, Chris Seaver and Josh Suire definitely managed to surprise with "Terror at Blood Fart Lake".
Yup, "Terror at Blood Fart Lake" was a bad movie, but it was so bad that it was actually hilarious and great fun to watch. It was just so far out there and bizarre, that it was great entertainment. And I must admit that I was more than genuinely entertained and surprised with the outcome of the movie.
Sure, "Terror at Blood Fart Lake" is not a movie that will find a liking with just everyone in the audience, as it takes a certain kind of sense of humor to enjoy a movie as strange and weird as this was. This was definitely a movie that tickled me in the right place, as the comedy was something very much akin to my own particular sense of odd humor.
"Terror at Blood Fart Lake" just goes to prove that you can't really judge a book - or movie - by its cover. I gave this 2009 movie a chance and I enjoyed it thoroughly. So I would say that you should definitely also sit down to watch director Chris Seaver's 2009 horror comedy if you get the chance.
It just came to my knowledge that there is a 2012 sequel also from Chris Seaver, titled "Return to Blood Fart Lake". I have to scrounge around for this movie, as I want to watch it.
Back to the things at hand here.
The characters in "Terror at Blood Fart Lake" were just hilarious and every bit as over-the-top as the rest of the movie was. And their dialogue was equally odd and bizarre, very much in tune with the overall feel of the movie.
The movie is fully and wholly devoid of proper special effects and adequate props. But again, it was something that was quite fitting for the movie, as it added to the cheesiness of the entire movie. Lots of low-key and low-practical things going on here though.
Sure, the acting in "Terror at Blood Fart Lake" was dubious. But trust me, it worked so well in favor of the movie. Because these performances, whether made bad deliberately or not, definitely suited the feel of the movie and added a great spice to the overall movie.
I am rating "Terror at Blood Fart Lake" a well deserved six out of ten stars.

I must say I set the bar very low for this film when invited to watch. I did not expect to make it more than a few minutes before bailing. Well, I was surprised! It is corny as hell (phun intended) and silly as can be but for some odd reason I had to watch the whole thing. Made me laugh so much it was truly entertaining. Could be a great cult film like attack of the killer tomatoes but won't be on a big screen anytime soon. Funny lines, effects were cheap but done with a funny twist, and the actors were over the top but entertaining nonetheless. Probably need to smoke out before watching this one to really enjoy but worth seeing.

Okay, I went into this film not expecting much, and yes, its a low budget film, and yes you can spot that with the camera's etc.
I actually started to enjoy it, as there is (kind of) a story there. But there is a lot of vulgarity, references to a lot of horror films, and Rock/Metal music. Having said that, there are some characters you can be happy (if that's the word) watching.
Leo was great, he only managed to get to Blood Fart Lake later, but his one-liners were okay. But Gwen.....She was sooo annoying. I was praying for her to die, straight from the first minute she appeared. Remove her, I would up this rating to a 7.

...and specifcally for this interaction.
Woman: "Do you know the dark arts, and listen to Evanescence?"
Man: "Evanescence!? Are you kidding me!? There is only one dark fantasy inspired, female fronted metal band...... And that is NIGHTWISH!!... How smooth is that sister?"
This movie is actually a pretty fun watch. Lots of good references.
