This has to be the worst directed, written and acted film I've seen in a long time. The over-stylized directing was trying to impress, but ended up being either cringeworthy or laughable, especially the outdated camera techniques and effects like the slow-mo scenes. This felt like a high school drama class production from the 90's, and I've seen more exciting and more realistic made-for-TV caper films from Lifetime and Aurora Teagarden Mysteries.
Then you have the overly cliched writing with matching characters and dialogue, that was parts from every other film in this genre, but this was done much worse. There was nothing unique or engaging besides the overall premise of the story, than ended up playing out like a cheap wannabe heist film. None of the characters were convincing, and much of that blame goes to the director for failing to direct his cast properly, and some blame falls on the writer who gave us the most annoying character played by Cam Gigandet. You will literally eye-roll and cringe at his character - demeanor, dialogue, etc, the entire runtime.
Even in its normally comfortable 91 min runtime, this entire film was dragged out with plot and technical issues in between every cliche available to this genre. It was just an unnecessary film written and directed so lazily, you'll cringe in all the moments that are supposed to be funny, and laugh at many serious scenes, like when the gold bar is being pawned and is being handled like a hollow piece of plastic. There is zero realism, suspense or thrills in this laughably failed caper.
It's a very generous 4/10 from me, because I can forgive certain rookie filmmaking mistakes. But there were far too many I couldn't overlook to recommend anyone waste their time seeing this like I did.

You'd be better off watching the TV series Leverage. This is similar, but they take themselves way to seriously and it makes it a bit cringe worthy. The acting is also a tad worse in my opinion, because of this. It's cheesy without being funny.
Also for supposed expert thieves they aren't very good at what they do. The fight are pretty painful to watch. Not sure if this was a made for TV movie, but it feels like one.
All that said, if you like heist movies this is okay to watch if you're doing something else, like making dinner or playing a board game. It certainly doesn't need your full attention.

The story is good and could have been an amazing film but there was no passion, no chemistry. It felt like watching a table read. Or a very long amateur Tik tok skit. If they do a sequel I hope they improve.
All of the actors can act. Except for the arrogant collector. If he is the one that directed and produced the film then it makes sense why it had good actors, a good story, but not painful to watch. Especially when there are two actors who work together on a very good tv show together. Two characters who have demonstrated that they have chemistry together.
Maybe it can be turned into a Netflix series.

Imagine every possible cinema cliché smashed together with amateur writing, gimmicky effects and bellow average directing.
From explosions that look like keyed out greenscreen motion graphics just thrown onto some footage to cringeworthy "hacking scenes" I spent more time laughing at this film than enjoying the story, it's a serious movie with a serious storyline but fails to give any backstory or further information on the characters involved, we almost just get thrown into heist scenes with no real motive for anything? I struggle to connect with the characters or what the greater mission is.
Watch this film for a quick cringeworthy laugh but it's a highschool experimental film level movie.
I think the writer's idea was well intentioned and it really could've been a great film, if only the execution was better 🙁

As other reviewers have said, why was tis movie even made?
The title, cool images, and even the opening music told me I was in for a fun movie. 10 minutes later I was logging in to read the plot and reviews just to see if I was watching the movie I thought I was watching.
So this <40 year old is the leader of a secret organization and capable of acquiring financial support. Also very capable of sensual appeal and knows where to find a good hair and nail salon.
The movie could have been a 40 minute television show, ala. It Takes a Thief or one of the several other shows from the 70s.
The crew are all enjoyable, the tech is good, the ease with which things are done is expected and the outcome is very weak.

Bad people do deserve punishment, but hitting them directly won't cut it. Stealing from bad guys really relies on a series of assumptions and careful planning, but having a safety net is like having hidden pieces on the chessboard to prevent moles and set up moles. Seeing from the trailer that a group of people with various skills are getting together to plan an art heist, it's such an exciting and tense scenario that builds up anticipation. You're waiting to see each team member shine in their roles, but the actual content spends quite a bit of time setting up the legitimacy of the art heist, which takes away from the unexpected surprises. Comparing it to another incredible movie about outsmarting bad guys and stealing their stuff, "Now You See Me," it falls a bit short, to be honest.
When you're making heist films, with second or even third grade actors, there is no point in talking about fineness, method acting and things like that.
To me this movie is totally brainless, but, hell, entertaining enough for the.90 min runtime. It is pure fun watching the girls planning and going about it with whatever élan possible.
Jaina Lee Ortiz (Lucille), Lisa Vidal (Annabel) and. Sasha Merci (Nadia) are playing cool.
Cam Gigandet (Bruno) goes over board and thus give an irritating performance.
Brain Cousins (Otto Huizen) is up to the mark.
Director Anthony Nardolillo is just ok with his craft. Remember to leave the logic out of the movie hall and enjoy the fun.

Annabel (Lisa Vidal) leads a group of thieves who are tasked by Holocaust survivors to retrieve art stolen by the Nazis during WWII.
The concept is interesting. The 1985 section is intriguing. I'm willing to go with the premise. Then the group recruits two Latinas and Cam Gigandet. This is treating the group like every other heist movie. The movie fills the crew with people skilled at individual tasks. It's trying to be Oceans. It misses the point of the base concept. The big takeaway with these characters shouldn't be skills. They should be believers. It's also weird for Jews to hire a Latino crew to take down Nazis. One would expect more Jewish content in the crew. The heist is not that great. There are bad turns. The general filmmaking is weak. It's all weak.

How refreshing to observe an ingeniously planned burglary with no guns allowed!!
Should a movie be considered or labelled 'weak" simply because of a lack of firearms?
What about one of the sexiest team of thieves ever to commit a robbery? Not to mention the high-tech wizardry employed to achieve their goals... Don't take my word for it...look them over yourself. You won't be able to take your eyes away!!
The meticulous planning involved was fascinating to follow, aside from the fact it reveals what a truly good hacker is capable of. The entire story was such fun I actually watched it twice, without ever feeling boring. There was plenty of action, the teamwork was plainly visible and this film proves that a movie does not require an abundance of shooting, gore or blood to make it entertaining..
What about You? Are You going to allow the "bad" reviews to discourage you from plunging into the movie and judging it for yourself??

All I have to see is a chick that's in station 19 she Musta got a boob job. She's like awful actress awful so once I saw her in it I didn't even bother the other ones that cam guy with his like smirky look it's just over the top no thanks it's clade it's just ridiculously stupid waste of time don't bother There's so many of these kind of crappy shows coming out with like terrible actors it just now I'm starting to realise it when you see an actor like in Station 19 or the rookie or Grey's Anatomy or any of those kind of shows you know that's that that's all they're gonna do Just like friends member that show they never could break the mould out of that and that's all they were and that's all they were known for same thing with any of these actors I tried to do action flicks, but they come from stupid TV shows waste of time waste of money.

Good story and could be a great watch. However, it's a badly directed movie, which makes this film boring to watch. Cust is not good either. I watched this movie for about 10 minutes and gave up. It's like watching in high school theater low-level play. What could have been a pretty solid heist story is thwarted by budgetary shortcomings, bits of awkward or confusing writing, and draggy direction that makes things feel like they're taking too long. Viewers are forced to deal with unremarkable characters and stale banter, which doesn't sell the electricity of the players and their specific game.

No pun intended - the question is what or rather which crime we are talking about ... with the ending suggesting this could get into overtime ... or rather could spawn sequels ... there are worse things out there of course ... still this is no Oceans Eleven (or how many they are in the group ... six? I really didn't care to count ... not to mention ... but let's not get into details).
I like Cam for example, but his character here is way over the top. His introduction chasing a teenager ... bugging him is almost fun ... especially considering the rebel he was playing in the OC show ... but he gets annoying really quick ... and not in a good way. Still if you like heist movies ... with twists every now in a while ... well ... this is decent to watch (no pun intended once again)

Until the opening credits ended.
Dreadful accents, cliche upon cliche, all with that B-Movie look.
I don't quite know what it is, but you recognize it immediately.
Somebody who really shouldn't have tried to make a movie.
What a waste.
Of time, effort, money. Whatever.
It's a good premise too. We still don't know where all that looted art went. If indeed it went anywhere.
South America?
Private collections?
Swiss Bank vaults?
Such a shame. If only someone had told this director to just STOP.
I felt it was my duty to warn you.
To spare you.
I'll never get those minutes back.
Please DON'T watch this.
