I Must Be Getting Old
John awakes in the morning having barely survived a wild party from the night before . Suffering a complete blackout he tries to remind himself what has happened by developing some photographs he took during the party
I thought with a title like PRICK this short film might be about a tattoo artist or something like that but no the title PRICK is use as an insulting adjective to a person and the word is spoken several times which means the drama is a little bit angry and nasty
That's the problem with the film , there's nothing in the way of any likable characters who spend much of the running time insulting one another and John does something very nasty and cowardly to get back at a love rival which meant I had zero sympathy for any of the characters in general and John in particular
From a technical point of view such as editing , framing and cinematography PRICK is more than competent but if you're making a film of any length you've got include characters you understand and I don't know if I'm getting hold but the ones seen here are truly unlikable
