Sexual scenes range from mild to moderate.

A man is seen thrusting into a woman whose with her breast is slightly visible. A similar sex scene involving thrusting between a couple is seen.

There is also some frontal female nudity. A naked woman is seen sunbathing and her breasts and nipples can be seen. There are also brief shots of her pubic region.

A boy pretends to cut his finger off as a joke. We see the end of a finger with some blood lying on the counter, but it turns out to be fake.

His mom, to get back at him, stages it to where it looks like she slit her wrists in the bathtub. We briefly see her lying in what appears to be a tub full of blood with what appear to be slit wrists. It turns out to be a joke and is played for comedy.

A woman shoots herself in the head off screen. We don't see any of the aftermath but we do hear the gunshot.

A woman sees in a dream the "ghost" of another woman who committed suicide. The "ghost" woman pulls a key out of a bullet hole in the side of her own head. Moderately disturbing, but it is played for comedy.

A woman's fingernails fall off as a result of therapy.

A man suffers a heart attack.

A woman pulls a gun on a couple running a scam. She shoots it in the distance to scare them, but nothing else is done.

A woman is hit by a bus. No blood, not graphic at all, but we find out later that the woman died.

A woman going insane tries to suffocate another woman with a plastic bag. The second woman gets away as the first woman chases her down the hall of a hospice facility before eventually falling down and dying. The scene is played for comedy but has a surrealistic serious tone at the end.

The entire final season is very emotional, and there are a lot of conversations about death and dying including assisted suicide.

Coarse language consists of profanities like 'motherfucker,' 'cunt,' and 'cocksucker' respectively.

Smoking, drinking, and some drug use.

The show is extremely emotionally intense, due to it's subject matter.
