The cast & crew of 'Temple Grandin' accept the Outstanding Made for Television Movie award onstage at the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.
The favourites were obvious at this year’s 2010 Emmy Awards, with Mad Men named Outstanding Drama Series for the third year in a row. Mastermind Matthew Weiner also claimed his third statuette in a row for Writing in a Drama Series, but shared it with pal Erin Levy this year.
ABC’s Modern Family also made their mark, winning Outstanding Comedy Series for its breakout season, along with awards for Writing in a Comedy series, with a third going to Eric Stonestreet for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.
Unsurprisingly, the dynamic duo that is Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul won Outstanding Actor and Supporting Actor in a Drama Series nods for their roles in AMC favourite, Breaking Bad. Cranston, oft overlooked playing the neurotic...

Continuing a recent streak of improved ratings for live events, the opening weekend of NBC's Winter Games coverage has posted near-record levels of viewership.
Through the first three days of coverage from Vancouver, NBC has averaged 28.6 million viewers per day -- 25% higher than the lackluster returns from the 2006 Torino Games.
That average is also the highest non-U.S. Winter Games opener since the Lillehammer Games in 1994, which received a boost from the Nancy Kerrigan/Tonya Harding scandal. This year may have also benefited from some dramatic headlines -- the tragic death of Georgian luge racer Nodar Kumaritashvili on Friday may have increased public awareness of the Games.
If one counts the number of viewers who sampled the Winter Games (watching at least six minutes), NBC's reach is a whopping 117 million viewers through the first three days. NBC's Web site is also benefiting from the coverage, with traffic to NBCOlympics.com up 250% from Torino.

Toronto -- Let the first fully digital Olympic Games begin.
Canada's Olympic Broadcast Media Consortium unveiled its digital offerings for the 2010 Vancouver Games, promising to deliver from Friday's opening ceremonies every second of every competition live at CTVOlympics.ca and RDSolympiques.ca.
The digital event coverage will include 2,200 hours of video content delivered on up to 14 concurrent live streams, and across the broadcast, social media, Xbox and mobile platforms, among others.
Alon Marcovici, vp of digital media and research at the CTV-led Olympic Broadcast Media Consortium, said the digital Games content will reach Canadians where they control and consume their media.
"This is the first Games where freely interactive and experiential viewing is an opportunity for Canadians," Marcovici said as he predicted Canadians will be leaning forward to view the Olympics on their computer or smartphone screens as much as they lean back on their living room couch in front of the TV set.
