No pun intended - the short movie deals with addiction ... and while one is being beaten (or is it?), another one seems to arise. Our main character had issues with alcohol abuse - or should I vaguely state substance? Well either way you get what I mean. But we meet her after all that - so she supposedly is better.
But being alone - well it makes you think and might make you order stuff you do not need to have. But what if you yourself have not ordered things and they still arrive at your place? Well she does everything that seems logical to rectify the situation ... but that does not seem to be helping much ... it is really well told/written and edited. The acting is good and the ending has final punch to deliver ... (is that pun by the way?)

A woman , victim of shopping. A sort of web having her as prey, packages / products not desired coming and coming, the tense created with precise art, the admirable acting of Allison Tolman and the terrible end.
But the basic virtue remains the realism. In a world dominated by shopping, including on-line shopping, this story works more than brilliant. Not only reminding effects of addiction but warning about vulnerability front to different forms of scams and the very easy manipulation, near the lost of intimacy.
The end is just great and makes this short film more than remarkable.
A simple story and beautiful acting - the fundamental good points of this profound inspired Return to Sender..
