Interpol, represented in this series by Agent Hilda Eriksen, are not law enforcement officers and do not investigate (international) crimes, nor do they have powers of arrest. Interpol instead facilitates international police cooperation and information sharing. As such, they issue notices of wanted persons, such as the Red Notice. They can send a response team to assist in a major incident such as a terrorist attack.
Maybe use of the name Hilde Eriksen was meant to obfuscate whether the character was meant to be German, Austrian, or Swiss, according to the given name, or Norwegian or Danish, according to the surname, but the American actress uses a combination of faux German, Dutch, and faux Scandinavian accents with periods of distinctive American pronunciation to inadvertently produce an embarrassingly comic character/performance.
Imogene, as a child, has got brown eyes, while Imogene's eyes as an adult are blue.
