Miss Gay Brazil contestants make dresses that cost over 10,000 Brazilian Reals (about US$5,000). Some even sell their cars in order to make the perfect dress. A must among Miss Gay hopefuls is the zwarovski crystal, present in excess in every dress in the line-up.
When the main couple met, Fabio had given up on the dream of becoming Miss Gay Brazil. It was his lover, Junior's idea to start dressing him up and competing again. And it was Junior's determination and persistence that convinced Fabio to compete again. It's a shared dream. Maybe it's even more of Junior's dream.
