Every episode is named after the location in Los Angeles County in which the crime took place.
On 18 January 2011, NBC put the show on hold indefinitely. On 13 May 2011, NBC officially canceled the show after one season.
As of 2017, the last spinoff of the Law & Order franchise that includes Law & Order (1990), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999), Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001), Law & Order: Trial by Jury (2005), Law & Order: UK (2009), Law & Order: LA (2010), and Law & Order True Crime (2017).
In the course of a single season, the opening announcement was changed once, and the credit sequence twice, once being omitted entirely.
This show was cancelled in 2011.
