Producers did not get permission to use any of the music in the film, banking on fair use because they uploaded the film for free streaming on YouTube, but because they allowed ads in order to profit from ad revenue there were copyright claims made. The film was taken down and had to be re-uploaded with edits. Notably, the song "Run to You" by Whitney Houston was replaced by "Crazy For You" by Madonna (in the dance/fight scene.)
